After Priyanka and Nick’s engagement news broke out, her co-star from Fashion, Kangana Ranaut almost confirmed the reports and she was quoted as saying, “I spoke to Priyanka the other day and I congratulated her. She responded in a very… She seems excited and very happy. If such an event is taking place, I’d love to celebrate with her because she is lovely and she deserves all the happiness. She is a very dear friend. I get very happy and excited about weddings and engagements”.
The speculations about Priyanka and Nick’s wedding has intensified since Kangana’s statement and adding to it was the fact that PeeCee opted out of Ali Abbas Zafar’s next film, Bharat suddenly. Clarifying the issue, Ali took to Twitter and wrote, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person and I'm dying now to go to India”.
