Priyanka Chopra is one of the most stunning actresses of her generation. However, her busy schedules and work commitments sometimes hinder her from attending various family programs. One such was when Priyanka couldn't attend her cousin, Parineeti Chopra's wedding with Raghav Chaddha. Soon, rumours started surfacing on the internet claiming that the two actress-cum-sisters were having some troubles with each other. Thus, when Priyanka recently came to India, she was not seen partying with Parineeti any time, adding fuel to the then-ongoing speculations.
Dismissing all such rumours about Parineeti Chopra and Priyanka Chopra having cold vibes between each other, now, the latter cheered for the former's latest film. For the unversed, Parineeti's latest film, Amar Singh Chamkila, was released on Netflix on April 12, 2024. And now, it seems that Parineeti's Mimi didi is indeed mesmerised by the former's performance in the film. Thus, taking to her IG stories, Priyanka shared a post of Parineeti and penned, "Congratulations Imtiaz sir, Diljit, Tisha and the team. Looks so good", followed by a heart-eye emoji. Soon, Parineeti reshared it and mentioned, "Thank you Mimi did" followed by a red heart and praying emoji.

When Priyanka Chopra recently arrived in India, she attended the birthday bash of her cousin, Mannara Chopra. Following this, a source close to the Chopras opened up about the rife between Parineeti and Priyanka going on at that time. The insider told BollywoodLife that Mannara is very close to Priyanka and considers her biggest source of inspiration. Thus, the insider mentioned that this was the reason why Parineeti wasn't invited to Mannara's birthday bash. The source said:
"Mannara is very close to Priyanka Chopra and she looks up to her as her biggest source of inspiration. Last night too she was happy to have her sister at her birthday party, but she didn't invite Parineeti Chopra and the reason may be Priyanka as it is speculated that Pari is upset with her Mimi Di for not attending her wedding. But these are mere speculation and the actual reason for Pari's miss is better known to them."
The source further added that Priyanka is the favourite among her cousins and shares a good bond with everyone in the family. However, ever since she missed Parineeti's wedding, the latter had stopped talking to her and didn't even meet her cousin when she came to India. The source added:
"Mannara and Parineeti too aren't very close cousins like the way she is with Priyanka, PC being the eldest share a good bond with all her sisters and family members. Also it is said that both Priyanka and Pari haven't met ever since she got married and one of the reasons could be Parineeti being busy with her film promotion Chamkila."

Since Priyanka's absence from Parineeti's wedding raised many eyebrows, the former's mother, Madhu Chopra had opened up about the same. She mentioned that Priyanka was then busy fulfilling her work commitments, so she had to skip her cousin's wedding. However, even after Priyanka couldn't attend the wedding, she congratulated Parineeti on her special day with a beautiful wish. Taking to her IG handle, Priyanka shared three pictures of Raghav and Parineeti from their wedding and penned a lovely note. She wrote:
"Picture perfect.. sending so much love to the newly weds on their special day! Welcome to the Chopra family @raghavchadha88 … hope you’re ready to dive into the crazy with us."
