Moreover, recent rumours have suggested that Priyanka would tie the knot with Ankit by the end of this year. And now, the actress gave a sassy response, dismissing speculations about her impending wedding.
For some time now, rumours have been rife that Priyanka would be getting married to Ankit by the end of 2024, and the couple has already locked onto a particular date. While the duo have frequently dismissed buzz about them being nothing more than good friends, it seems the speculations will not die soon enough. And finally, dispelling all such news, Priyanka took to her IG stories on March 12, 2024, and penned a witty note. She penned:
“It’s March!!! But lagta hai kuch media portals ka April’s Fool jaldi aagaya.”

Previously, in an interaction with a news portal after his eviction from the reality show, Bigg Boss 16, Ankit Gupta opened up about his equation with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary. He clearly mentioned that he is not willing to put a tag over his relationship with her, since both of them want different things from life. He added that while Priyanka is quite family oriented and emotional, he, on the other hand, doesn’t believe in the concept of marriage itself. He shared:
“I don’t want to give a tag or label to this relationship with Priyanka because we don’t want the same things from this bond. Main tab naam Doon jab do log same cheez chahe… Priyanka is a very emotional person and she’s a family oriented girl. She wants a family in life when she gets into a relationship and on the other hand I am very independent and someone who doesn’t believe in marriage as a concept. When I don’t believe in something and I know what will be our future then why would I forcefully get into a relationship and ruin the special bond and friendship that we have right now.”
In yet another of his interviews, Ankit Gupta revealed that despite the fact that their innumerable fans want him to take the next step of his relationship with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, they, on the other hand, are quite sorted about the same. He added that if there is a chance in future about the duo getting married, it will happen very organically.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, during her stint inside Bigg Boss 16, had clearly debunked not dating Ankit Gupta. She claimed that the latter was just her best friend, and it is just the two of them who know exactly the kind of equation they share with one another. In her words:
“He is my best friend. Do log ki story wahi do log jaante hai. Aap sirf assume kar sakte ho, predict kar sakte ho. Usspe mohar toh meri and Ankit ki hi lagegi na, ki yeh sach hai ki nahi. Yeh rumour hai, we are good friends and we are just focussing on work. We are not thinking about relationships.”
