Preity Zinta and her husband, Gene Goodenough had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their twin babies, Jai and Gia, on November 18, 2021, through surrogacy. And since then, they have been enjoying every moment of their parenthood journey with their two little munchkins.
Preity Zinta had taken to her IG handle to share the good news with the world. She had announced the arrival of her prince and princess through a beautiful picture with her husband, Gene. Alongside it, she had revealed the names of her kids in the caption which can be read as:
"Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light - Gene, Preity, Jai & Gia."

On December 7, 2021, Preity Zinta took to her IG handle to share a cute photo featuring one of her twins. Though the face was not visible, the baby's blue blanket and cap can be seen. Preity can be seen holding her baby close to her chest, sitting in front of a fireplace. She had a burp cloth on her shoulder. Atop of it, she wrote in the caption:
"Burp cloths, diapers and babies… I'm loving it all #ting."

For the unversed, Preity Zinta had got married to Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in Los Angeles in 2016. On Thanksgiving, Preity had taken to her IG handle and had shared a photo featuring her mom and her husband, Gene. Along with it, she had captioned it as:
"Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating. So grateful for the two new additions to our family, grateful for our wonderful lives and for all our wonderful friends and family #happythanksgiving #ting."

In an old interview, Preity had opened up about marriage and women. She had mentioned that she feels lucky to be married to a man like Gene who supports her and pushes her to do movies. Preity had said:
"Women, in general, are superwomen. They take care of the home and work. They are very few men who do that. For me it is very simple, I am married, working and very happy. I am lucky that I am married to a person who actually pushed me into doing a movie. I thought I didn't want to do any more movies and I moved to the business side of life."
Preity Zinta had made her debut in Bollywood with the film, Dil Se along with Shah Rukh Khan.
