Singer, Prakriti Kakar is all set to start a new and beautiful chapter of her life. The singer, who is best known for songs like Hawa Hawa, Maafiyaan, Majnu, Gazab Ka Hai Din and more is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Vinay Anand. A few days ago, the singer had shared photos from her Bridal shower. Well, now in a recent interview, she opened up about her wedding plans with Vinay.

Prakriti Kakar to marry Vinay Anand near Jaipur, Rajasthan

Recently, singer, Prakriti Kakar had a candid conversation with the Hindustan Times, during which she opened up about her marriage plans with her longtime boyfriend, Vinay. During the candid conversation, Prakriti revealed that her intimate wedding ceremony will take place at Fort Barwara near Jaipur. She also mentioned that she and Vinay will even organise a grand reception in Mumbai. Prakriti was quoted as saying:

"The wedding is at Fort Barwara near Jaipur, which will be an intimate ceremony. That will be followed by celebrations in Delhi. There will also be a big reception in Mumbai where everyone who has been part of my journey and industry colleagues will join in. It's going to be two weeks of fun. Last year on New Year's Vinay and I happened to visit Udaipur and it was quite clear we would love to get married in a fort or palace in Rajasthan. It was my childhood fantasy. Convincing our parents was a bit of a task but we were very sure about our plan."

Prakriti Kakar reveals details on her wedding outfits

During the same conversation, Prakriti also spoke about her wedding looks. She shared that even though she has a clear vision in things like these, it took her a lot of time to decide on one lehenga. She further described Vinay as the most chill groom and stated that she has styled almost all of his looks. In her words:

"I'm the most decisive girl when it comes to jewellery and outfits but somehow there had been a lot of back and forth with my wedding looks. Its all done now, I've finalised my lehenga and fittings are done so im in a much better place but overall its been a lot of fun. I've styled most of Vinay's looks and he's the most chilled out groom to be, I wish I could be like him."

Prakriti Kakar opened up about her surprise bachelorette in a villa

During the same interview with the Hindustan Times, singer, Prakriti Kakar shared details on her surprise bachelorette, which was held at a villa. She shared that her sisters, Sukriti and Aakriti, along with her 12 friends played multiple games at the bachelorette. They even tried their hands on art activities. She further mentioned that her sisters are the best maid of honours. Prakriti shared:

"My sisters Sukriti and Akriti, along with my girl friends, 12 of us headed to a beautiful villa near the lake. We had different types of games, art activities, T-shirts, balloons and everything was customised with my photos on them. My sisters are the best maids of honour one could have."

On April 30, 2025, Prakriti Kakar and Vinay Anand shared a joint post on Instagram, in which they announced their engagement. For the unversed, on her special day, the singer looked absolutely gorgeous in a floral dress, while Vinay opted for a casual off-white suit. In the photos shared by the couple, Vinay was on his knees, while Prakriti was visibly emotional.
