Dancing legend, Prabhu Deva has suffered a tragic love life. After a painful divorce from his first wife, Latha, followed by a scandalous affair with his then-partner, Nayanthara, Prabhu finally found a settlement in the arms of his second wife, Himani Singh. For the unversed, Himani is a physiotherapist by profession, and the duo tied the knot secretly in 2020.
On April 28, 2023, Prabhu Deva and his second wife, Himani Singh, were spotted arriving together at the holy shrine of Tirupati Balaji Temple in Chennai. This marks the choreographer’s first public appearance with his second wife. While Prabhu opted for a complete traditional look in a white kurta teamed with a traditional veshti, his wife looked beautiful in a blue-coloured salwar suit. The duo held hands as they walked amidst the gathered onlookers.

On April 3, 2023, Prabhu Deva turned a year older. While nearly all his fans gathered on their social media handles to wish the legend on the special day, it was one particular wish that became viral in no time. Well, it turned out that his wifey, Himani, had recorded a special video wish for the dancer, where she bared her heart on her sleeve. This video was later played on the sets of a reality show of which Prabhu Deva was a part. Needless to say, this special gesture made him teary-eyed, and he swelled in love.

The reports about Prabhu Deva tying the knot for a second time came about in 2020. According to ETimes, Prabhu tied the knot with Mumbai-based physiotherapist, Himani Singh, whom he had met when he consulted her regarding some pain in his back and legs. It was a case of love at first sight for them, and the duo gradually stayed in a live-in relationship before tying the knot. While they kept their marriage a secret affair, it was only after the rumours of their wedding started to buzz everywhere that Prabhu’s brother gave an official statement. He mentioned:
“Well, you have the details. We are very happy about Prabhu Deva's marriage."

Prabhu Deva’s personal life made headlines when his extra-marital affair with Nayanthara appeared. At that time, Prabhu was still married to his first wife, Latha and had two sons. However, after refuting the news as gossip for the longest time, Prabhu finally accepted being in a relationship with Nayanthara, which eventually crumbled the base of his marital life. While Latha was initially reluctant to divorce Prabhu, she later came up with ways of publicly shaming Nayanthara for breaking a household.
