For the unversed, the duo, who used to be high-school sweethearts had been hitting the headlines for quite some time, as reports suggested things have not been well in their marital paradise.

It was on February 6, 2024, when the Delhi Times reported that Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have officially announced their separation, along with a joint statement. It revealed that the couple’s decision to walk separate ways was taken mutually and was amicable to both of them. Moreover, it remarked how this massive decision was in consideration of the best interests of themselves as well as their two children. Seeking privacy, the statement by Esha and Bharat concluded as:
“We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”

Previously, an anonymous report by a netizen on Reddit, claimed that the diamond merchant cheated on his wifey by being in a relationship with a woman, allegedly his girlfriend, who resided in Bangalore. The netizen further claimed having witnessed Bharat attending a New Year party with her at an apartment in the city.
Back on December 31, 2023, Esha Deol took to her IG handle and dropped a heart-warming picture of herself along with her daughters, Radhya and Miraya. The two girls were seen giving their mommy a hug, who happily posed for the camera. Interestingly, Bharat Takhtani was seemingly absent from the frame, fuelling their divorce rumours.
