Pooja Bhatt is one of the leading names in the entertainment industry. She started as an actress in 1989 in Mahesh Bhatt's television film, Daddy. In 2023, Pooja Bhatt participated in the Bigg Boss OTT season 2 and even reached the finale. The actress appeared as a guest supporter for Mannara Chopra on Bigg Boss 17 and took an indirect dig at her BB-OTT 2 fellow contestants Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani.
Pooja Bhatt and journalist, Dibang appeared on Bigg Boss 17 just a day prior to its grand finale to encourage the contestants and wish them well. In the episode, Pooja Bhatt motivated Mannara Chopra and guided her to stay strong. She also appreciated Mannara's game and complimented her for playing the game with the utmost grace. She added that things get more difficult once people step out of the Bigg Boss house as they start to set false narratives to safeguard themselves.

Pooja Bhatt takes an indirect dig at Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani's fanbase and calls them toxic. She accused the fandoms of spreading hate for other contestants and made Mannara wary of such situations that may occur in the future. She elaborated that once out of the house, people give interviews and try to twist the notion of the audiences, aiming to manipulate them.
This is not the first time that Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants have alleged each other's toxic fan bases. Even earlier, Bebika Dhurve called out Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani's fans for spreading hate and toxicity. Things got so worse that Bebika went out and threatened trolls with legal repercussions if they continued spamming her.

Munawar Faruqui won the title of Bigg Boss 17, and his mate, Abhishek Kumar, stood second in the finals. Mannara Chopra led the race among girls and came third, followed by Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mashetty.
