Pooja Bhatt has been grabbing all the headlines because of her unfiltered opinions and mature stances on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Moreover, she recently bagged a position among the other finalists in the show, which is nearing its finale soon. During her entire journey in the show so far, Pooja has always been quite frank in her statements, and has often revealed various anecdotes from her personal life. Yet something similar happened again when Pooja spoke about facing financial issues despite being a big star.
In one of the latest episodes of BB OTT 2, Pooja Bhatt was seen having a discussion with her co-participants, Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan. She was seen giving clarification for her once used word, “chote log” for indicating the wild card entrants in the show. To this, Pooja highlighted that she did not mean to use the word to indicate someone’s financial condition or status in life, but for the type of actions they do. Moreover, she added that she cannot consider herself different, since she has also seen stiff financial crunch in her life, despite being a big star once. In her words:
“I want to add one thing by chote log I did not mean to comment on someone’s position, stature, bank balance. In that case I am the sabse choti. I’ve myself told you all that I’be been a big star once but there was a time when I only had Rs. 4000 in my bank account.”

In the same interaction, Pooja then revealed that despite seeing such tough times in her life, never did she for once ask or beg anyone for money. She even revealed to have seen big influential families and people soaring up and then breaking down in the showbiz world. She mentioned:
“I never begged or asked money from anyone. I’ve seen rises and falls in and it is part of our showbiz world. We don’t belong to business families. Chote log ka matlab kya hai by that I meant aap ki harkaton se. I never meant bank balance. Mere paas kya gaadi hai yaar, meri soch and samajh at that point was something else. I was saying something bigger.”
In one of her earlier episodes in BB OTT 2, Pooja Bhatt turned emotional recalling the time she decided to end her 11-year-long marriage with Manish Makhija. Calling her divorce the lowest point in her life, Pooja highlighted that it was her own, well-thought decision to do so. Moreover, she added that she drowned in alcoholism right after it, and her life felt like death at that point of time.

In yet another of her episodes in BB OTT 2, Pooja had once spoken up about her decision to never have any children during her marital life with ex-husband, Manish Makhija. She revealed that she wasn’t ready to take the responsibility of a child back then, while being in the marriage. However, she assured that her ex-husband and in-laws were very good and decent people nevertheless.
