Popular actress-producer, Pooja Bhatt has turned the social media platforms upside down after she shared a stunning picture of herself dressed in a black outfit and giving some of the leading actresses of Bollywood a run for their money. However, more than her jaw-dropping picture, it is her super-philosophical note that left everyone in meltdown.
From talking about her failed relationships to admitting her mistakes, Pooja Bhatt also opened up about her journey with sobriety in her long note and revealed its impact on her life.

On September 28, 2021, Pooja Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and posted a stunning monochrome picture of herself dressed in a black outfit and flaunting her hair. Along with this mesmerising photo, Pooja penned a long note in the caption in which she talked about the idea of falling in love with someone and the introduction of sobriety in her life. The Bombay Begums actress wrote, "I can't remember a time when I've not been in love. With people, yes..but more so with the very Idea of love. I looked for love everywhere I went. Chased it down unfamiliar avenues in the dead of the night & even across countries, borders, continents."
Going further in the note, Pooja Bhatt also reflected on the importance of people who didn't love her back. The actress also admitted that she blamed no one for failing her because she had failed herself in her life. She continued, "Have a lot of myself to attribute to the ones who loved me back & especially the ones that didn't. I can't blame anyone for failing me because the truth is I more often than not, failed myself."

Pooja Bhatt also opened up about her experience with sobriety, and called it a 'demanding yet fulfilling partner'. Explaining the initial effects of sobriety, she wrote, "Then one day the universe Introduced me to the love of my life-Sobriety. And the need for validation from any other source ebbed. A demanding yet fulfilling lover, Sobriety breaks down your defences, bares & reveals your soul, calls out any and all bullshit, yet clasps your hand tight and ensures you make it through many uncertain nights, filling your dawn with such unimaginable light when you do the most revolutionary thing-say NO to yourself."
At the end of her beautiful and inspiring note, Pooja Bhatt revealed that it had been almost five years to her journey against alcoholism with sobriety. She penned, "It's been almost five years of this deeply gratifying relationship. One that has helped me weather many vicious storms, kept me afloat through great loss & grounded through a supposed revival of fortune & fame."
Concluding her note in the caption, Pooja Bhatt clearly stated that she doesn't have any room for a person in her life, as she and sobriety are hustling at the moment. She wrote, "There is no room for a third in my life at this point. My priority for the first time ever, is myself. My emotional health, comes first. Sobriety, recovery gets first priority. And because recovery, like love, is selfish no matter what people say, my choice is clear- it is SINGLE BLESSEDNESS all the way!"

On the professional front, Pooja Bhatt had marked her acting comeback with the film, Sadak 2 after her almost decade-long break.
