Phaedra Parks and CT Tamburello came into The Traitors from totally different reality backgrounds. Inside the castle, the dynamic was complicated from the start since Phaedra was picked as an original Traitor while CT was playing as a Faithful.
Their season aired in early 2024, and their friendship kept getting attention after, but it really blew up around the Episode 6 mission when CT helped Phaedra through a river crossing, and they were spotted holding hands, then paired up again in the next episode.
One light moment stuck when CT asked how she was doing, and Phaedra affectionately called him daddy, which gave fans a running joke. She later told Extra that she felt she would have struggled in the physical missions without him, which was why she trusted him so much. She made it official on Watch What Happens Live by calling him her Castle Daddy and describing their connection as a kind of love thing.
Phaedra Parks and CT Tamburello’s bond was highlighted again when Phaedra lit his torch during a safety chain and kept him safe from murder that night, with CT joking afterward that he wasn't going to say no to the gesture. Even host Alan Cumming commented on how affectionate they were, calling them a funny little odd couple. The nickname didn't save her, though, because once CT suspected she was a Traitor, he voted to banish her in Episode 10.
CT went on to reach the end with Trishelle Cannatella and MJ Javid, and he and Trishelle banished MJ alongside splitting the USD 208,100 prize. After the finale, CT claimed that nothing serious had happened between him and Phaedra in the castle.
CT told Entertainment Weekly there was some sincerity in their interactions and that he loved how goofy she was, but that it was all within the context of playing a game, adding that he respected her too much to fake a romance for attention and questioning how it would work with her living in Atlanta. Phaedra was warmer in her post-show comments, calling him salt of the earth and a gentleman in that Extra interview and saying she wanted to work with him again.
More than two years later, CT made a public move in an Instagram post shared on August 9, 2026. He shared a photo of Phaedra from the RHOA reunion and said he still needed a plus-one for the Emmys, asking fans to put in a good word. Phaedra replied that she was already his, and days later he posted a video of her saying she had said yes, to which she responded that it was a date, with two flirty emojis.

Phaedra Parks recently confirmed that she is dating CT Tamburello. She revealed the news while appearing in an episode of Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM on September 4, 2026.
During the interview, Jeff Lewis asked if Phaedra was dating. He also asked whether Parks’ plan to attend the Emmys with a date was platonic, and she clarified that it was not. She confirmed that she will be at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 5, 2026, as CT's date. When Lewis asked if they had already been out together, Phaedra said they had, keeping the timeline vague and noting that things started the last time she was in Los Angeles.
She also shared that after the Emmys weekend, the two plan to head to New York together for a work engagement on Fire Island. Around the same time, CT posted a photo to his Instagram Stories. It featured a van with a caption about going to pick up Phaedra, followed by videos showing her in Lewis's studio and later riding with him.
