Yes, popular youth actor, Pearl V Puri has been arrested on June 4, 2021, late at night. The actor had started his career in Hindi Television in 2013, however, his shot to fame was his show, Phir Bhi Na Maane... Badtameez Dil in 2015 on Star Plus. Since then, the actor has worked in famous shows like Naagin 3, Bepanah Pyaar and Brahmarakshas 2. However, as they say, fate doesn’t always favour you!

Pearl has been linked with his various co-stars, and the most popular link-ups were with Karishma Tanna and Surbhi Jyoti, who were his co-stars in Naagin 3. However, the rumours were never accepted by any actor and they all had maintained a ‘good friends’ stance whenever asked. Pearl had also once in an interview stated that it was because of his ex-girlfriend that he became an actor. We must say that he has been quite popular amongst female. However, now, the actor is dealing with some serious allegations.
Yes, according to the reports, Pearl V Puri has been arrested by the Mumbai Police late at night on June 4, 2021. A girl and his family have accused the actor of rape and molestation and several industry sources have confirmed the news. Bollywood Bubble quoted its source as saying, “Pearl has been arrested yesterday (June 4) late-night after a girl and her family filed a rape and molestation case against him in Mumbai. He is now under police custody. We don’t know anything apart from this right now.”
As the nation woke up to the shocking news of Pearl's arrest, his close friend and Naagin 3 co-star, Anita Hassanandani too is in utter shock. The actress has come out in the open to support her friend, Pearl and stated that it is a nonsensical news and it cannot be true. Sharing a picture with Pearl on her IG handle, Anita wrote, "Woke up to some nonsensical news bout @pearlvpuri I know him! It is NOT true... canNOT be true.... all lies. I’m sure there is more to it. And the truth will be out soon. Love you @pearlvpuri #ISTANDWITHPEARL."
Talking about Pearls’ link-ups, it was in 2019, during the shoot of Naagin 3 that Karishma Tanna was rumoured to be dating her co-star, Pearl V Puri. They had known each other for five years and it was said that while working together, the two had gotten close to each other and had started dating. However, both Karishma and Pearl had said that they are ‘good friends’. Later it was reported that the two have parted their ways. Pinkvilla had quoted the source, saying, “Karishma and Pearl have been each other's emotional anchor in the last two years but they amicable decided to part ways two months ago. Apparently, Karishma wanted to get married soon but Pearl wasn't ready for it and the duo decided to end it, if there was no immediate future to be seen.”

Pearl was also rumoured to be dating his Naagin 3 co-stars, Surbhi Jyoti, however, the actress had denied the reports. In an interview with Pinkvilla, when Surbhi Jyoti was asked if she is dating Pearl V Puri, she had retorted, "I and Pearl are not dating each other. We are good friends with each other. But I cannot blame you guys because I know if people start liking a Jodi on-screen they expect them to date each other in real too. But no we are not dating. He is a good friend."
In an interview with SpotboyE, Pearl V Puri had revealed that it was his ex-girlfriend, who had motivated and encouraged him to be an actor. He had said, “My father wanted me to join his business but I wanted to do this as I had a girlfriend who wanted me to become an actor and she was a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. For her, I left home and came down to Mumbai and became an actor. And after I became an actor, she wanted me to leave acting.”
