Parineeti Chopra is known for her strong acting mettle and bubbly nature that simply wins hearts at any given moment. Recently, a Reddit user shared an old clip of Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur, when they graced the talk show, Koffee With Karan. In the video, the host, Karan Johar can be seen first being apprehensive of speaking about Parineeti’s weight loss journey. However, when the actress agreed to it, Karan then revealed how Parineeti was petrified of Katrina Kaif, seeing her impeccable dedication towards fitness. Agreeing to the same, Parineeti then agreed to the statement and revealed an interesting anecdote with Katrina Kaif at the gym. In her words:
“Still scared of her. That day she came to the gym and I quickly increased the speed of my cycle. I was like, I’m doing. She’s like, what are you doing? How many minutes have you done. So, I was like, 20 minutes. She said, five more minutes. So, I was like okay whatever you say I’ll do. Even today, I message her all the time to ask her about fitness and everything. And she really takes the time to care. She’s really such a beautiful person.”

As soon as the video was shared, eagle-eyed netizens took note of it and started to express their opinion about the same. Well, almost everybody came out in support of Parineeti and rather bashed the obsession of filmmakers and producers in Bollywood to forcibly ensure actresses to always look a certain toned way. Moreover, there were a few more users who even commented Parineeti’s acting chops and compared it to Vidya Balan. While one user wrote, “Parineeti is always being questioned about her weight and weight loss. This is so disrespectful. What is the obsession with shaming people for their weight”, another netizen commented, “She was always beautiful. It’s a shame that she was bullied and made to feel insecure by her co-stars and media”.
Apart from her professional career, Parineeti has always maintained a low profile when it concerns her personal life. Being in the film world, she has often been linked to various co-stars and actors. However, she finally revealed the man of her dreams, Raghav Chadha, when the duo got engaged on May 13, 2023, in Delhi’s Kapurthala House. The duo looked madly-in-love as they twinned in pastel-hued outfits, and celebrated their new beginnings in the presence of their family and friends.

Although Parineeti got engaged to her soulmate, Raghav Chadha in 2023, way back, in one of her interviews, she had spoken about the kind of qualities she would want in the man of her dreams. Well, surely, Raghav ticks off most of them, as Parineeti talked about a strong man, sensible, and mature, among others. She could be quoted as saying:
“I need a strong man to fall in love with. I also want my man to have a great sense of humour. He should be sensible, mature and I don’t care if he is 20 years older than me.” Parineeti added, “I have never been on a romantic date. If I fall in love, I would love to go on a date, but I don’t miss it. I will date a person only if I fall in love with him.”
