Tamil film, Parasakthi is a historical political action drama set in 1960s Tamil Nadu. At its core, the film follows 'Chezhiyan' (Sivakarthikeyan), who once was an observer of political conflicts, but now is an active leader. Initially, 'Chezhiyan' was a coal handler at the Indian Railways. His brother, 'Chinnadurai' is a student, who is involved in protests. Overall, the film explores the journey of 'Chezhiyan', from having a normal life away from politics to being a leader.

After the release of the Tamil film, multiple users shared their thoughts on it. While some appreciated the engaging and powerful narrative of the film, others hailed the on-screen presence of the actors, especially Sivakarthikeyan. One user commented, "#Parasakthi [5/5] : A movie that showcases the Supreme sacrifice of 1960's Tamil students and people who fought to preserve their mother tongue.. Emotional.. Engaging.. Powerful.." Another user wrote, "Parasakthi is not a film, an emotion."

A third user penned, "#Parasakthi :4/5 It is just not a movie but an emotion. It’s powerful, engaging and thought- provoking. The struggle & pain of student community against the imposition of Hindi during the 60's is well-depicted by dir @Sudha_Kongara. @Siva_Kartikeyan is perfect and his character is something he should be very, very proud of!" A fourth user appreciated the movie and the actors in it. A part of the review can be read as:
"Hearty congratulations @Siva Kartikeyan for living the role and making a big impact with his performance. Superb performances from @iam_RaviMohan @Atharvaamurali #Sreeleela & others. Excellent songs & BGM by @gvprakash. Cinematography by #RavikChandran , sharp editing, amazing Art Direction in every scene to recreate the period beautifully on screen supported the film."

While the Tamil film managed to impress a lot of users, some of them were still disappointed with the film and its narrative. A few users took to their X handles and shared their disappointment. One user commented, "#Parasakthi first public review. First half very boring unable to sit in seats. Interval block adharva death scene to predictable by child also. Music below average very flat no hype scenes. Climax very worst by director carrer sudha kongra. #Sivakarthikeyan average acting , movie was carried out by jayam ravi only. Better to avoid this movie. 1.5 star rating only movie disaster." Another user shared, "Fake positive reviews can be bought and pushed online. But the real audience can’t be fooled. Once people watch the movie, the truth is clear - disappointment everywhere." A third user penned:

"Parasakthi dreams big, but ultimately falls short. The film aspires to recreate a powerful period setting, yet never truly transports the viewer into its time. The comedy sequences fail big time, awkwardly attempting to appeal to the period context but landing flat instead. Rather than feeling organic, the humour feels forced and out of sync with the film’s tone."
