In a recent interview, Raja Chaudhary opened up about his bond with his estranged daughter, Palak Tiwari. Raja shared that he has consciously stopped following Palak’s life on social media because it became too painful for him. He also mentioned their alleged last meeting.
According to Shweta’s first husband, Raja, Palak visited him on his birthday in either 2022 or 2023 but stayed for only a few minutes. Recalling what he said to Palak, Raja added that he told her he wanted to cook for her and later also told her that she could have come with her mother. As per Raja, this had left Palak upset. In his words:
"I don’t want to see their photos, videos because I have done my level of begging. I have justified myself enough, saying how much I miss her. I don’t want to anymore. It was my birthday, and she came to my home for a visit. But she left in 10 minutes, saying she had some work. I invited her. I told her I’ll cook for her as it was my birthday, but it didn’t work out. I told her, 'You could have come with your mother.'"

In the same interview, Raja shared his take on his estranged daughter, Palak Tiwari’s rumoured relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan. Raja mentioned that he is completely unbothered about the whole thing. He highlighted that nowadays he does not interfere in Palak’s personal life because she no longer considers him a father. Raja added that despite the distance between him and Palak, he would not hesitate to help Palak if she ever needed him. In his words:
"She is not living in isolation. Everyone has girlfriends and boyfriends. I would be bothered if she was a part of my life, but she doesn’t consider me a father. You should ask her mother if she is bothered. Why should I be bothered? I am just a biological father; that’s it. That’s what I was told. I was told that I have nothing to do with her. What can you do about it? I will be there for her if she calls me in the middle of the night also, but I am not needed in her life."
It is worth mentioning that this was not the first time Raja reacted to Palak and Ibrahim’s dating rumours. Earlier, in 2025, Raja sat for an interview with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush. Raja explained that if he ever gets the opportunity to guide Palak, he would tell her to focus on her career first rather than the relationship. In his words:
"Agar mujhe mauka mile samjhane ka toh main to yahi kahunga ki bhai inn chakkaro se door rahe aur apne career par focus kar, wohi ek cheez hai, ultimately kaam aane wali hai tere. Relationship ke liye yeh age na bohot kam hai. 30-35 saal se pahle relationship karna hi nahi chahiye, mujhe lagta hai sab immature rahte hain. Maturity hai hi nahi logon me bas bachpan mein shadi kar lete hain log, aur that turns out to be a big blunder. Phir rote raho, koshte raho ek dusre ko."
