Apart from reality shows like Splistvilla and Nach Baliye, the actress won fame for her stellar performances in Badii Devrani, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, and Udaariyaan. However, Palak is now a contestant in the Bigg Boss OTT season 2. For the unversed, Palak's personal life has always been the talk of the town. She dated Choti Bahu fame, Avinash Sachdev, and the duo was ready to hop onto their forever journey but unfortunately, they broke up. However, Avinash is also a participant in Bigg Boss OTT season 2. In a recent interview, Palak Purswani talked about facing her ex at the 'strange house' of Bigg Boss OTT.
In an interview with ETimes, Palak Purswani opened up about the problems she and her ex, Avinash Sachdev faced in their relationship. For the uninformed, Avinash and Palak dated for four years, and then on January 17, 2021, they had their shagun ceremony, but after that, the then couple went through a rough patch and parted ways. Now the actress talked about what had gone wrong between them. Palak shared that it sometimes happens that two people are good individually, but when they come together, there begins friction. Talking about the same, Palak revealed that Avinash was a good companion, but for her, 'loyalty' matters more than love and respect, and if there remains no loyalty, then it's better to call it quits, and she did the same. Palak revealed:
"He just went his own way. In some relationships, two people are good individually. But when they come together, there is a friction. Things were good. He was a nice companion but the last few months of our relationship just really went down the drain. For me, more than love and respect, loyalty matters. If I am not getting that, then it is better to walk out. So there was no point in stretching the relationship and hence I decided to call it off. It was just going weaker."

Further in the same interview, Palak Purswani was asked if by 'loyalty' she had hinted that Avinash cheated on her. To reply to such a question, Palak revealed that she doesn't want to comment on that, but she had asked for many things as a girlfriend and a partner. She also stated that a relationship has certain expectations, and when it cannot be returned, it's non-negotiable for her. Palak explained:
"I won’t like to comment anything on that. Talking about loyalty, there were a lot of things that I had asked for as a girlfriend and a partner. There are certain expectations in a relationship and when you are not getting that in return, it’s non negotiable for me."
In the same interview, Palak Purswani was asked about facing Avinash at Bigg Boss. Replying to the same, she revealed that they hadn't talked for a while and hadn't met each other. The actress shared that she doesn't know how she will react, but she knows that her ex is now her competitor and will not stand back from fighting if needed. Palak also shared that Bigg Boss can turn friends into foes and vice versa, so it can also happen that she and Avinash become friends again. Sharing the details about the same, Palak mentioned:
"We haven’t faced each other for a while now. It is going to take a lot of strength for me to face him again. We haven’t spoken with each other. I don’t know how I am going to react. But definitely, we have gone our own ways. I am a better person now mentally. At the end of the day, he is my competitor. So if anything comes to me, I will fight back. I will not hold back. In Bigg Boss, friends-turn-foes, foes-turn-friends… so who knows we might end up being friends and come out of the house."

In the same interview, Palak was asked about finding love again in the Bigg Boss house. To answer such a question, she shared that she has been single for a year now, and her guards are really high, so she restricted herself. Palak also shared that as she was in a solid relationship, she needed a lot of time to get out of it and to heal, but now she is ready to explore love again.
