However, apart from her professional life, she also made it to the headlines for her relationship with Choti Bahu fame, Avinash Sachdev. For the unversed, both the actors are presently locked inside the strange house of Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, earlier in an interview, the actress hinted about her ex-beau, Avinash cheating on her. After that, Avinash mentioned that he fell out of love with Palak. Now, reacting to the same, Palak's bestie, Simran Budharup, slammed the latter and called him, 'Jhootha No.1.'
For the unversed, Palak Purswani and Avinash Sachdev were together for four years and even got engaged. However, after that, the duo decided to part ways for the reason best known to them. Earlier, when asked about the reason for their breakup, Palak shared that for her, 'loyalty' matters more than anything else. Now, a recent episode featured Avinash Sachdev and Jiya Shankar discussing about Palak and the former's past relationship. However, Jiya said that Palak told them that she and Avinash had broken up as the latter had fallen out of love. Jiya then mentioned that after a week, Palak had been telling people that Avinash had cheated on her.

As soon as Avinash was heard saying that he didn't cheat on Palak, the latter's best friend, Simran Budharup took to her Instagram story and slammed him. Sharing the clip from the same episode, where Avinash and Jiya were seen talking with each other, Simran wrote:
"I Was There To Witness Everything… Everything…What a liar! Avinash didn't fall out of love, he outrightly cheated on my friend Palak Purswani when they were still engaged. Earlier, before facing her ex-beau, Avinash, at the strange house of BB OTT 2, Palak Purswani told ETimes that two people, who are good individually, come together, and there begins friction. She also mentioned that Avinash was a good companion, but for her, 'loyalty' matters more than love and respect, and if there remains no loyalty, then it's better to end things. Elaborating on the same, Palak revealed:
"He just went his own way. In some relationships, two people are good individually. But when they come together, there is a friction. Things were good. He was a nice companion but the last few months of our relationship just really went down the drain. For me, more than love and respect, loyalty matters. If I am not getting that, then it is better to walk out. So there was no point in stretching the relationship and hence I decided to call it off. It was just going weaker."

Earlier, in an episode of BB OTT 2, Palak was asked by her co-contestant, Aaliya what had gone wrong between her and Avinash. To which Palak said that it's a long story. After that, she again hinted at Avinash cheating on her twice. Palak could be heard saying:
"Not just once, twice, and I couldn’t stay with such a person...Our families were involved. We were about to get married.”
