Popular actress, Ushna Shah has worked in several popular Pakistani shows, including Parizaad, Yeh Ishq Hai, Cheekh, Aakhir Kab Tak and many others. She also appeared in a few movies, including Teri Meri Love Story, Oye Kuch Kar Guzar and Punjab Nahi Jaungi. Now, as she shared a stunning photo of her with the filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap, her fans are curious about her next project. In addition, Ushna revealed how she met her husband, Hamza Amin due to the ace director, Anurag. For the unversed, Ushna got married to Hamza in February 2023, and due to her bridal outfit, netizens claimed that she looked like an Indian bride. However, she later slammed the netizens for the same.
Taking to her IG handle, Ushna Shah shared a photo along with the filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap. The picture was clicked inside some sets and seemed to be from some event. While Anurag looked dapper in an all-black outfit, Ushna stunned in a beige-hued jacket paired with denim pants. Sharing the photo, Ushna described Anurag as a 'genius' and 'a maestro of his craft'. However, she also mentioned that the ace director was the 'reason' she met her husband, Hamza Amin. She wrote:
"A perpendicular genius; maestro of his craft. An institution, I learnt so much. (Also the reason I met my husband)."

As soon as Ushna posted her photo with Anurag with such a caption, netizens poured their heart out in the comment section. When one user quizzed about her upcoming projects with Anurag and wrote, "Noooo wayyyy (fire emojis)," Ushna replied, "Haha yes way! That’s why I’m so pro-auditions, everyone gets a chance for cool projects even if they’re not in inner circles. Imagine if that starts happening here." Another comment can be read as "Bollywood’s very own Tarantino (Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino). Nawaz (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and so many other stars were made because of Anurag." One more netizen asked Ushna about her next project, to which she mentioned:
"It was a TVC :) it aired and finished already."
On February 27, 2023, Ushna Shah tied the knot with golfer, Hamza Amin in Karachi amidst close friends and stars from the entertainment industry. Soon after the wedding, Ushna took to her IG handle and shared some romantic photos with her husband, Hamza. For her special day, Ushna opted for a heavily-embroidered belted lehenga with a heavy assemblage of jewels comprising a matha-patti, jhumkas, a choker and a set of red bangles. In addition, Ushna Shah rocked a double-dupatta look with one pinned on her head and another one tucked on her shoulder. On the other hand, Hamza donned a white sherwani with a matching safa.

After Ushna's wedding pictures went viral on social media, some netizens didn't like her choice of bridal outfit and began mercilessly trolling her. According to trollers, the actress promoted Indian culture by wearing such an Indian-style red-hued bridal lehenga. Thus, to slam them, Ushna took to her Instagram stories and gave a befitting reply to critics on social media. Sharing a picture of her mehendi while flaunting her huge diamond ring, the actress wrote:
“Mrs Amin, to those who have a problem with my dress: you weren't invited, nor did you pay for my shade of red. My jewellery, my jora: purely Pakistani. My heart, however, half-Austrian. Allah humein khush rakhey aameen. Beigaani shaadi mein jo uninvited photographers ghuss gaye, unko salaam.”
