Iqra Aziz recently appeared in Yasir Hussain's reality talk show, The Pick And Drop Show, where she revealed that for her wedding look was heavily influenced by Priyanka Chopra's wedding lehenga from her Indian wedding. She loved the red-on-red look and wanted the same thing for herself, which is why she instructed fashion designer, Nomi Ansari to custom make the lehenga for her big day.

For the unversed, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain tied the knot in 2019, just a year after Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' 2018 wedding. Iqra added that she requested Nomi to make her wedding lehenga full-sleeved. Otherwise, people would say that she copied the entire look from Priyanka Chopra. Iqra explained that it is completely normal to be inspired by celebrity looks. In Iqra's words:
“Maine jaake Nomi Ansari ko bola ki mujhe aisa red-on-red bana do bhai Priyanka Iqra'sbas sleeves puri bana do phir log ye na bole ki puri exact copy chaap diya hai. Maine apni shaadi ke liye Priyanka Chopra se inspiration li thi, maine Nomi se bola tha ki mujhe aisa red-on-red chahiye warna isse pehle this wasn’t a thing but aap isko apne type se customise kar dena. Meri inspiration thi wo, ye bhi bhi wahi inspiration thi toh agar wo jake Nomi Ansari se bole ki jaisa Iqra ne shaadi mein red-on-red pehna tha waisa mujhe bana do toh main kuch bol toh nahi sakti na, mere paas copyright nahi hai uss design ka.”
Indian singer, Neha Kakkar got hitched to Rohanpreet Singh in 2020. Neha's bridal lehenga was custom-made by the ace designer, Falguni Shane Peacock, and it was very similar to Priyanka Chopra's red-on-red wedding lehenga. For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra's wedding attire was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Iqra Aziz's hit TV drama, Mannat Murad, wrapped up its last episode a few days back. It garnered Iqra a lot of appreciation from the audience for its authentic portrayal of reality on television screens. The actress in the drama, Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet opposite Hamza Sohail, will next be seen.
