OYO Room's CEO, Ritesh Agarwal is in seventh heaven as he welcomed his first child with his wife, Geetansha Sood. For the unversed, 2023 has been the best year for Ritesh as he not only embraced his fatherhood journey but also appeared as the youngest Shark on the panel of Shark Tank India Season 3. Ritesh has worked super hard to make OYO the most recognised startup across India.
On December 7, 2023, Ritesh Agarwal took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture of his newborn baby. In the photo, we can see the newborn baby holding his father's finger with his tiny hands. The little boy was decked up in a cosy onesie. Along with it, Ritesh revealed that he had kept his son's name as 'Aryan'. He also added that the sleepless nights he had spent working for OYO Rooms had been a warm-up for the fatherhood journey. He wrote:
"The miracle of life is breathtaking, and our hearts are forever changed. Meet our precious little one - Aryan. The sleepless nights spent building OYO were just a warm-up for the sleepless nights of parenthood, and yet, I've never been happier than I am at this very moment! Here's to us, my incredible wife Geet, the bundle of joy Aryan and to the new chapter we're writing together – filled with love, laughter, and the indescribable happiness that only a little one can bring."

In October 2023, Ritesh Agarwal surprised his fans by sharing his wife, Geetansha's pregnancy announcement. He dropped a picture with his pregnant wife, who was seen flaunting her baby bump in a pretty blue-hued dress. On the other hand, the doting husband was seen cradling his wife's baby bump. It was a beautiful moment captured on the camera.
Along with it, Ritesh revealed that he met his wife, Geet eleven years ago, as a teenager. He added that he found it hard to convince his family about his dream, but it was his wife, Geet, who kept supporting him. Ritesh also shared that they have faced a lot of highs and lows together. He had written:
"I met Geet eleven years ago, when I was just a teenager chasing dreams, trying to convince my family that I wanted to build my company from scratch. There was only one constant who was by my side through it all, and it was her. The highs of happiness and milestones, the lows of pain and loss, we've been through so much together."
