It's a celebratory moment for the entire team of RRR, as they have created history at the prestigious Oscars 2023 awards ceremony. The verdict is finally out, and the entire nation is beaming with joy as the popular song, Naatu Naatu, from the movie, RRR, has won the Oscars 2023. Unsurprisingly, social media is filled with multiple pictures and videos from the awards ceremony, and several celebrities have shared congratulatory messages for the RRR team.

The song, Naatu Naatu, has created history by becoming the first song from any Indian film to win in the Best Song category at the Oscars 2023. The original song beat the other nominees in the category, including Applause from Tell It Like a Woman, Hold My Hand from Top Gun Maverick, Lift Me Up from Black Pather Wakanda Forever, and This is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once. For the unversed, Naatu Naatu, is the second Indian song to win this prestigious award, after Jai Ho from the film, Slumdog Millionaire, which won the award in 2009 in the same category.

MM Keeravani accepted the Oscars 2023 for Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards

The prestigious 95th Academy Awards 2023 ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Music director, MM Keeravaani accepted the award for the song, Naatu Naatu, with a Namaste gesture. For the unversed, RRR has garnered several US awards and even made it to the BAFTA 2023 list in the Film Not in the English Language category. Apart from this, the foot-tapping number, Naatu Naatu, composed by MM Keeravaani and penned by Chandrabose, also bagged a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award.

Upasana Kamineni turns cheerleader for hubby, Ram Charan at Oscars 2023

Recently, we stumbled upon a video of Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Kamineni, from the red carpet at the Oscars 2023. Upasna looked gorgeous in a beige-hued saree which she complemented with contrasting maroon earrings and accessories. In a conversation with the hosts of ABC News Live, the doting wifey, Upasana shared that she is there to support her husband, Ram and has arrived as a part of the RRR family. She was heard saying:

"I am here to support Ram, and I am here to be a part of the RRR family. I am nervous, I am shaking a bit, but this is really amazing."

Ram Charan shares their soon-to-be-born baby brought so much luck to them

Soon after Upasana mentioned that she's the cheerleader for her husband, Ram Charan, at the award ceremony, the actor also showered love on his wife. Mentioning Upasana's pregnancy, Ram shared that his wife is six months pregnant. Well, not just this, he even shared that their soon-to-be-born baby is already bringing so much luck to them. In his words: 

"Absolutely. She is pregnant as well. So I think...ya six months... I think that the baby is bringing us so much luck. From the Globes to standing with you guys right here."
