Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, is all over social media, winning hearts every day. Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora and Ranbir Kapoor, you name a Bollywood celebrity, and Orry is friends with them. He and his friendship with the who's who of the glamour world are the most-talked-about topics in Tinseltown. In a recent conversation, Orry finally opened up about his relationship with star kids, including Janhvi Kapoor and Nysa Devgan.
In an interaction with MensXP, Orry shared that he first met Janhvi Kapoor almost 7-8 years ago in New York and added that he was a fan before he met her. Orry and Jahnvi had a mutual friend back then, who informed him that Janhvi was visiting the city and asked if they could all hang out at Orry’s house. Being such a big fan, Orry was over the moon and immediately agreed. He said:
‘Many years ago, I was studying in New York, and I didn't know Janhvi Kapoor at that time. We hadn't ever met, but she was Janhvi Kapoor. All week every Indian in Manhattan was talking about how Janhvi Kapoor was coming to town. And I knew that because a very good friend of her was a close friend of mine. He suggested that I should host her at my house, and I was waiting for the moment."

Orry wasn't sure about the date that Janhvi was supposed to come to his place, so he went to a friend's birthday party one night. He recalled that it was snowing heavily, but he still rushed to his place to host Janhvi. Heaping praises on Janhvi, Orry said he is still a fan of her and would now describe himself as 'fan and family'. In his words:
"When Janhvi finally came over, I ran to my house from across the city in snowy weather. She just came in her perfectness, and her glamour and her aura. She was everything she was meant to be. She is the celebrity that neither one of us is. I was a fan then, and I am a fan now. We are fan and family.”
Orry and Nysa Devgan are also often clicked together and seem to share a very strong friendship. When he was asked if he was closer to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor or Nysa Devgn, Orry replied that he was just as close to everyone. However, he also made a shocking revelation and shared that he is also really good friends with Rakhi Sawant. Reflecting on the same, Orry said:
"I am very close to Nysa, I'm very close to the Kapoor sisters. But what people don't get to understand is that I am very close to many other people. Like I have a lot of friends, and even Rakhi Sawant and I share a close bond. We haven't met each other recently, because we keep making plans to meet at the airport, but our flights never match. But we also share a very close bond. Rakhi never replies to many of her DMs, but she replied to me with three voice notes, and I love her for that."

Orry shares a good bond with many Hollywood celebrities and his Instagram handle is proof of the same. Talking about the same, he recalled meeting Kylie Jenner for the first time while he was waiting in line outside a restaurant to get a photo with her. However, the second time, he met her at her house in Los Angeles. Talking about his photo with Anne Hathaway, Orry recalled that he met her in Rome and was shivering when he saw her. In his words:
“When you are meeting Anne Hathaway, she doesn’t care to meet you. She’s being polite and she’s being nice but she doesn’t care to meet you. I guarantee you she will remember me as that sweet little Indian boy that she met in Rome who was shivering. I was shivering. She is Anne Hathaway, and she is looking amazing. We spoke for like 20-30 minutes. She’ll remember like I was so cute. It was a fake shiver, but it was a shiver nonetheless.”
