Olivia and the San Francisco 49ers star welcomed the baby less than 15 months after the birth of their first child. Amid this, her statement about never wanting to date an athlete again after a past experience has surfaced.
Olivia Culpo opened up about her ‘horrible’ experience dating an athlete
Before Olivia Culpo tied the knot with Christian McCaffrey, she went through a lot of ‘heartbreak.’ During an episode of The Culpo Sisters, she candidly spoke about her past relationships and claimed that one of her famous exes had cheated on her. Olivia claimed that she dated an athlete, but things soon took a horrible turn. In her words:
“I dated an athlete, and that relationship went horribly wrong. I was cheated on multiple times…it was so bad.”
Olivia’s relationship clearly left a bad impression of athletes on her. In fact, it seemed that being cheated on also left her traumatized, as she said, “After that relationship, I decided no more athletes, no athletes ever again.”
Despite fans’ curiosity, Oliva Culpo has remained tight-lipped about who that alleged cheater was. However, a quick look at her dating history showed that she has previously dated quite a few well-known athletes. Back in 2015, Olivia had a brief relationship with former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow. The very next year, in 2016, Olivia got into an on-and-off relationship with former New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola.
Danny and Olivia began dating in February 2016 before calling it quits two years later in March 2018. While reports state that the former pair rekindled their romance in June of that year, they broke up for good in April 2019.
It is worth mentioning that before their breakup, Danny was seen getting cozy with a CBS reporter named Bianca Peters on the beach in Miami. This led many to believe that Danny Amendola was the athlete who Olivia said had cheated on her.

In a joint Instagram post shared on October 10, 2026, Olivia revealed that she has welcomed her second child, a baby boy with her husband, Christian McCaffrey, on September 29, 2026. In the caption, the model revealed the baby's name by writing, “Roman Augustus McCaffrey,” followed by a white heart emoji.
Olivia shared several black-and-white photos of herself in the hospital as she gave birth, with the NFL star right by her side. In the pictures, the couple could be seen holding their newborn as their 14-month-old daughter, Colette, looked on.
In another shot, Olivia Culpo could be seen standing in a garden as she held Roman, and Collete stood beside her. She later took to Instagram Stories and added, “Heart is exploding,” overjoyed at the birth of her baby boy.
For the unversed, Olivia and the 49ers star first announced the news of her second pregnancy on the model’s 34th birthday in May 2026. Sharing photos of her and Christian on a picnic with Colette and their dog, Oliver, she displayed sonogram images on their picnic blanket to reveal the happy news. Olivia captioned the joint Instagram post, “Best birthday gift,” followed by a red heart emoji.
