Oliver Tree's last Instagram post showed a comedy skit featuring him on the streets of Brazil. The video was shot in a collaboration with Brazilian content creator, Lae Break. It was based on the theme of an American experiencing Brazil and its unique vibe for the first time. It especially captured the essence of football's love amid the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup. Sharing the video, he penned:
"American for the first time in Brazil."

The video also featured the singer enjoying the local culture in his signature humorous style. Throughout the video, Oliver looked energetic, relaxed and carefree. Apart from touring, he also collaborated with the local content creators and filmed content for his social media handles. Although the exact reason he got onto the helicopter is unclear, some reports claim he might have been involved in additional content creation projects. Still, authorities have not confirmed the reason for his flight.

Soon, emergency crews arrived at the scene. But the intensity of the fire complicated the rescue and recovery efforts. Some reports indicated that multiple vehicles were destroyed when the fire spread rapidly in the parking lot. Meanwhile, the Brazilian aviation authorities have started an investigation into the crash. They are examining flight data, videos, and other evidence to determine what caused the collision. However, since the debris spread across a wide area, it will be difficult to determine the exact sequence of events.
