Oliver Tree's Post With KSI Surfaces Amid His Death, Called YouTuber 'Ugliest Guy On The Internet'

The music industry was left in complete shock as it was revealed a while ago that singer, Oliver Tree had passed away. The Life Goes On singer was reportedly only 32 years old when he passed away in a tragic helicopter crash. Now, amid the news, an old post of Oliver Tree featuring YouTuber, KSI has surfaced.

Amid his death, many fans have been prowling through Oliver Tree's Instagram. For those unaware, he had a public account boasting a sizable following of 2.4 million. As of now, his page has 126 posts. Out of these posts, the one that has been catching everyone's attention is a photo featuring him and the famous YouTuber, KSI. In the picture taken in front of a grey backdrop, KSI and Oliver Tree can be seen wearing similar outfits. While Oliver wore a red coat and shirt, KSI wore a blue coat and shirt. 

It seemed that Oliver was seated on a still, although it was not visible in the picture. Meanwhile, KSI stood behind the singer with his hands placed on one side of Oliver's shoulder. The duo wore the widest smiles and seemed to be having a great time. Oliver captioned the picture, “The two ugliest guys on the internet joined together to drop the worst song you've ever heard today.” 

For those wondering, the song that Oliver referred to in his caption was his and KSI's 2023 collaboration, Voices. Now, it seems like just this one collaboration was enough for KSI and Oliver to build a good relationship. This is because, just like many of his fans, KSI is also trying to deal with the loss of the singer. A while ago, KSI made a heart-wrenching tribute for Oliver Tree, writing on X (formerly Twitter):

"Can’t believe I’m actually having to type this. You’re 32 man. You should still be here. You still had so much life to live. So much music to make. So much content to make. You’re a legend and will always be a legend. Still doesn’t feel real. Genuinely feel sick. I love you bro.”

Oliver Tree's tragic death 

As per reports, Oliver Tree died in a helicopter crash in Brazil. Authorities claimed there were five people in the helicopter. Apart from Oliver, this included Lucas Vignale, Lucas Vito Chaves, Alexandre Souza, and another famous YouTuber, Gasper Prim, popularly known as Gaspi. Meanwhile, the other helicopter involved in the crash had the pilot, Charles Marsillac, alone. The collision of the two helicopters happened in Southwest Rio de Janeiro, in a popular tourist destination called Recreio dos Bandeirantes. 

The unfortunate accident reportedly took place on Saturday morning, June 14, 2026. As of now, an investigation is underway to reveal the exact reason for the crash. The ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) confirmed the same in a statement, which can be read as:

“The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reports that it has become aware of the air accident involving two helicopters, today, June 14th, in Rio de Janeiro, and is investigating the situation of the aircraft and pilots involved in the case. The investigations into the causes will be conducted by the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA). ANAC regrets the incident, expresses its solidarity with the families and friends of the victims, and reiterates to all passengers on general aviation flights that they should verify the status of companies and aircraft before boarding.”

Rio Fire Services Lieutenant Colonel Fabio Contreiras revealed that the helicopter crash caused a massive fire in the area, and the damage made it difficult to deduce how the accident occurred. He added that the helicopter carrying five victims, seemingly referring to the one Oliver was in, was found fully engulfed in flames. He stated:

"Parts of the aircraft are scattered hundreds of meters away, so the information we have is very preliminary. We really need to get the recordings and videos to understand exactly what happened.”
