Off Campus Season 1 finale left us all on the edge of our seats. Ever since the show was released on May 13, 2026 (ET), fans have been waiting for the makers to share an update on what is next in the much awaited series. For the unversed, Off Campus was a full season binge-drop, which means all episodes were dropped together, allowing fans to experience the full show at once. However, while fans waited for some good news, creator, Louisa Levy has confimed that one of the main characters will not be coming back for Season 2.
Off Campus Season 1 has already set the stage for Season 2. However, in a recent conversation with TV Guide, the show's creator has revealed that Season 2 will have a missing face. Yes! Louisa Levy revealed that 'Justin' essayed by Josh Heuston won't be coming back in Season 2. While she confirmed that she won't write off his role completely, the decision came after Josh was not available to shoot the second season.
"Not next season, but I love Josh, and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point. We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never."

Off Campus is based on a book series by Elle Kennedy. The show premiered on May 13, 2026 (ET), on Amazon Prime Video and follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives as they "grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood", according to the show's official synopsis. According to reports, Season 1 is centered around the "sexy and fun 'opposites attract' romance between quiet songwriter, 'Hannah', and Briar University's all-star hockey athlete, 'Garrett'."

'Hannah' played by Ella Bright and 'Garrett' played by Belmont Cameli will return to the show for Season 2. According to US Weekly, the stars have confirmed their return for the future seasons and addressed the audience's concern around their return. Ella shared that they plan on 'sticking' around while Belmont admitted that he is excited to see what Season 2 has in store for them. He added:
"I totally understand your concern. We will be along for the ride the whole time."

Ella and Belmont found their on-screen pairing often easy, as they quickly became friends in real life. Additionally, the latter admitted that working with someone they don't like could have been very difficult and hence they are grateful for being paired together. He said, "Doing a job like this would be so miserable if you didn’t like your costar. We are so lucky. Ella and I are really, really good friends. We get along so well, and we spend a ton of time together on set." Ella also reciprocated the centiments and said:

"Honestly, we just have so much fun. It’s so cool to be able to go on this journey with everybody who just cares so much about this show and these characters. Everyone is here for the same reason. It definitely loosens the pressure a lot, because you’re sharing it with all these really great and talented people."
