But the pain of saying goodbye to them breaks us from inside. And an exactly similar incident happened at Ajay Devgan's father, Veeru Devgan's prayer meet. On May 27, 2019, the B-town lost one of his favourite hero, a true legend and stunt director, Veeru Devgan. He was the man behind the actions sequences in most of the hit Bollywood films. The legendary stunt director hailed from Amritsar, Punjab and came to the city of dreams to become an actor, but instead, he became the true action hero. However, it is his son, Ajay Devgan, who made his dream come true and gave him the name and fame he always wanted.
And while the entire nation mourned the huge loss, it is the kids of the Devgan family that still cannot believe their grandfather's sudden demise. Today (on May 30, 2019), Ajay's daughter, Nysa Devgan broke down while saying her last goodbye at the prayer meeting of her grandfather. We got hold of a video, wherein, we can see emotional Nysa crying while daddy Ajay consoled her. Take a look at the videos below:
For those who don't know, a couple of days ago, Nysa was brutally trolled for visiting a salon just a day after her grandfather's demise. Coming back to the legacy of Veeru Devgan, we remember how once in an interview, he had stated that he lived his dream of becoming an actor through his son, Ajay Devgan. It was in the year 1957 when Veeru ji took the decision of entering the film industry and he came to the dream city in the hope of becoming an actor. But he couldn't make it to the big screens as he didn't have the chocolate face which was trending at that time. And he took the vow of making his first son a hero, "After seeing my face in the mirror, I felt I was much inferior to the other strugglers. So I gave up. He had also shared his feelings after seeing his son making his dreams come true. "Obviously, I feel good that my dreams have been achieved. People used to laugh at me and say, Itna ordinary face ka aadmi hero ban hi nahin sakta. But Ajay has proved his critics wrong and established himself as an actor since 1991."
In the same interview, he had further shared his experience of becoming a stuntman, and had revealed, "I have played a stuntman for almost every hero, be it Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna or Jeetendra. Death hovers over a stuntman constantly. I have escaped narrowly so many times that I have stopped giving importance to such problems."
