Actress-politician, Nusrat Jahan has often made it to the headlines for her relationship controversies. The actress is currently in a relationship with Yash Dasgupta, and the two had welcomed their baby boy, Yishaan J Dasgupta, in August 2021. For a while, Nusrat has maintained an air of mystery about whether she is married to Yash and had refused to confirm or deny anything in interviews. However, she has been dropping subtle hints indicating that she is married to Yash.
A few months back, Yash Dasgupta had turned a year older, and his girlfriend, Nusrat Jahan had celebrated his birthday in an intimate manner. On her IG stories, she had shared two pictures from the celebrations, confirming that her child’s father is Yash. In one picture, there was a gorgeous monochrome two-tier cake, in which, the first tier had shown her bond with Yash with ‘Husband’ mentioned on it and the other one had depicted his bond with his child, which had mentioned ‘Dad’. The second picture was from their intimate dinner date.

Nusrat Jahan is currently doing a chat show, Ishq With Nusrat on the radio channel, 104.8 FM. The Ishq FM shares their weekly episodes on their Youtube channel, and on the recent one, Nusrat welcomed her spouse, Yash Dasgupta, as a special guest. During the show, Nusrat asked Yash to share their love story and tell the listeners how their relationship had begun. However, Yash turned the tables on her and asked her, “Okay, I’ll ask you. How did this happen?” To which, Nusrat replied:
“I ran away with you.”
However, Yash immediately enquired Nusrat about the details and asked her to elaborate on the incident. He asked, “You ran away? You mean, we ran through the streets holding hands?” To which, the actress-politician was quick to respond, and shared:
“No, no, I absconded with you. This is in one word, I absconded with you. This is what the episode is about - my love, my choice. I fell in love with you, that was my choice, and the rest is history.”

For the longest time, there was a mystery behind Nusrat Jahan’s baby’s father’s name. It was the baby’s birth certificate that had revealed that Nusrat's boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta is her child’s father. A few days after the birth of her child, a report by Times Now had revealed Nusrat's baby's birth certificate, which had mentioned the father’s name as Yash Dasgupta. The certificate had also mentioned the baby's name as Yishaan J Dasgupta and the father's name as Debashish Dasgupta, also known as Yash Dasgupta.
A few days back, Ishq FM had shared a brand new episode on their Youtube channel, wherein Nusrat had addressed all of the speculations and had answered the social media users' queries. She had opened up about embracing motherhood and had said that it was the boldest decision she had taken in 2021. And, she had added that her son has a 'normal father and a normal mother'. She had said:
"I've not made any mistake. It's my life and I've taken the decision. People might find it bold but I think it was a very sane decision to take. I've never spoken about this so that I can keep my sanity intact. Just because I didn't speak up on this matter, many people have said a lot of things. So today I'm speaking about this. Yes, I've been extremely extremely bold and I'm very proud of my decision of being a mother. I'm not a single mother, my child has a normal father and a normal mother like me."
For the uninitiated, Nusrat Jahan was earlier married to a businessman, Nikhil Jain. However, they had parted ways in early 2021.
