Nusrat Jahan is one of the most popular actresses in the Bengali film industry. She is known for her gorgeous looks, fab physique and terrific acting chops. She has won quite a number of awards and accolades for her performances to date. Apart from being a talented actress, Nusrat also happens to be an MLA in the Lok Sabha as a candidate from Trinamool Congress. Speaking about her personal life, Nusrat is in a steady relationship with her partner, Yash Dasgupta and the duo is parents to their son, Yishaan.
According to the latest reports, Nusrat Jahan has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate over her alleged connection with a massive financial fraud case and is accused of swindling crores of money from vulnerable senior citizens with a fake promise of offering them affordable residential flats. Nusrat, along with another accused member, Rakesh Singh were lead authorities in their own-established, questionable financial firm, and extorted a whopping amount of Rs. 6 lakhs from each of the duped senior citizens, and having promised them a new flat over four years. She has been summoned to make her appearance on September 12, 2023.

In her chat show, Ishq With Nusrat, Nusrat Jahan had once spoken up about her relationship with her partner, Yash Dasgupta. The episode, which was graced by Yash as well, featured the strong couple making some bold revelations about their relationship, and clarifying a lot of rumours and speculations about their relationship. During the same, Nusrat highlighted how, at one point in time, she and Yash were almost on the verge of breaking up, but that thankfully didn’t happen. She revealed they were able to patch up again at the right time. In her words:
“We were almost on the verge of breaking up but it didn’t happen and we decided that we have to stay together.”
While Nusrat Jahan and Yash Dasgupta have never really opened up about how they met and fell in love and began their journey. However, there was a time when the actress had rubbished rumours about her son, Yishaan not having a father, and she being a single mother to her child. In an interview with Ishq FM, she had mentioned that embracing motherhood was one of the biggest and boldest decisions for her ever, and clarified that her son had both his normal, biological parents.

For the unversed, before making her relationship with Yash Dasgupta official, Nusrat Jahan was previously married to fashion entrepreneur, Nikhil Jain. However, the news of their supposed divorce came about at a time when Nusrat was rumoured to be pregnant with Yash Dasgupta’s child. However, tackling all the speculations and gossips about her personal life, Nusrat had given out a bold statement, and refused to make any comment on the same. She had mentioned:
“The affairs of my private life are not for the public. People have always put me on trial. But this time, I am not going to comment. People can only judge me for my work as an actor and nothing else. Be it good, bad or ugly, it is my personal life, and I am not going to share it with anyone."
