In 2024, she announced her debut album, while in 2026 she released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, leaving everyone in awe. North is passionate about music, and all she wants is 'blue hair and piercings', for which she has repeatedly been questioned. Social media users took shots at North West and also at her parents, Kanye and Kim. However, North didn't hold back from replying. Her mom, Kim, once revealed how North had the perfect clapback at her trolls.
North West replied to trolls after being questioned about piercings and tattoos
Last year, reports hit the headlines that Kim Kardashian defended her daughter, North, opting for 'fake' tattoos and piercings as she replied to trolls. In reality, it was not Kim, but North herself. Speaking on Complex’s GOAT Talk YouTube series, Kim shared that whenever North posts on TikTok, it's always on the former's phone. North needs her mom's approval to upload any TikTok.
Speaking about North's face tattoos and piercings, Kim said they were all fake and that it's something her daughter loves to do. North, along with her friends, put on fake tattoos and piercings and posted TikToks during Halloween last year, and was scrutinized for it, with everyone thinking they were real. Speaking about the same, Kim Kardashian said:
"North, if she ever posts a TikTok, it’s on my phone, so she has to ask my approval, and then I post it. The comments, all that’s on my phone. She and her girlfriends, they love doing costumes, they love doing looks, and so, it’s Halloween season, so they put on fake tattoos on their face, fake piercings, they all had their colored hair. They looked like an opium Powerpuff Girls … [that’s] what they were going for."
Kim Kardashian, in the same interview, revealed that when North West came across the comments and trolls she was getting, she decided to take her mom's phone and reply. Replying to one such troll, she wrote, 'This is such a non-issue'. While North was the one who commented to the troll, as it was from Kim's account, people thought that Kim defended her daughter. Explaining what happened, Kim Kardashian said:
“She was like, ‘I don’t get it. It’s a Halloween costume. It’s all fake'. So, she takes my phone, and she writes back to a comment, and she goes, ‘This is such a non-issue.’ Then online, it was like, ‘Kim defends North to the end on this look.’”
North West again sparked a conversation with her 'new nose'
Just a few days back, North took to her social media and released a video of herself. Her apparent deep contouring or filter made people wonder if she has gotten a 'new nose'. Wild assumptions have been made as North is focused on her professional front. Speaking to Dazed last week, North mentioned that she hopes to get a 'normal job' at Starbucks, specifically. She said she would turn 14 next year and take a job at Starbucks, which shocked people.
North was further asked about her feelings over people questioning her fashion choices. The 13-year-old questioned why she was the one being scrutinized while the boys were never questioned about the 'bad stuff' they do, like vaping. She stated that all she wants is blue hair and piercings. Kim and Kanye were tagged as 'neglectful parents', however, neither they nor North has reacted to the conversation surrounding her seemingly deeply contoured nose.
