Nora talked about the controversy on the Dream With Dr. Sheen podcast. Nora shared that the controvery impacted her career and left an impact on her emotions. Recalling the period, Nora stated that the allegations left her traumatised and affected her life. She broke down while talking about the situation.
Nora claimed that she was traumatised and her mother knows how she has raised her and her friends knew what kind of a person she has been. But those who had not known her, would have believed the things that were said about her. She called it a sensitive time as she lost a lot of brands and work due to that one stupid thing. She said:
"I will never forget that situation. I was so traumatised. My mom knows me and how she raised me, my friends know me, but that they not known me so well, they would've believed the things people were saying about me. That was a very sensitive time. I lost a lot of brands. I lost a lot of work because of that one stupid thing. Even today, people says things like 'Oh, you know, she knows that guy', or 'She dated him'. It's not the truth."
Nora further added that the public's opinion on her stayed the same even after her controversy ended. People kept claiming that she was romantically involved with Sukesh. She also talked about her discussion with his family and the gifts she received. Nora accepted that Sukesh gifted her a car and other things but she was told that's normal. She said:
"People need to think how they are handling their social media. Karma is real. Yes, I went to that event, Yes, I interacted with that person's family and wife, they gifted me a car and other things but I was told that's normal."
Nora also talked about being questioned by the ED, and called it the most frightening exprerience and stated that she didn't got much support in those two years. She stated that it was scary time and feel bad for herself. She wished that there was someone who could help but she had no help. There were other actors who were in the same situation but they were pulled out immediately. But the most painful thing was how a narrative was spread that she dated him and took money from him. She said:
"Whatever I went through in those two years, it was crazy. It was so scary. I feel bad for myself. I wish there was someone who could help me. I really had no help to get out of that situation. There were other actors and artists who were in the same situation and got pulled out immediately. But what hurt me was the narrative that I knew the guy, I dated him and took money from him."
