Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani is all set to get married to his longtime girlfriend, Radhika Merchant. According to reports, Anant and Radhika will tie the knot in July 2024. However, the soon-to-be-married couple will have their pre-wedding festivities in March. The celebrations began with the first Gujarati function, 'Lagan Lakhvanu'. However, we are in awe of the mother of the groom, Nita Ambani, who looked stunning as she incorporated a Gujarati touch into her look.
Recently, Nita Ambani picked a lehenga from Anamika Khann's collection for the first pre-wedding ceremony. For Anant Ambani's Lagan Lakhvanu, Nita Ambani wore a satranga lehenga with aari, zardosi and threadwork detailing. However, it was her Gharchola odhni that added the Gujarati touch to her look. Nita further styled her look with a heavy neckpiece, matching earrings and maang teeka. Subtle makeup with glossy lips, a pink bindi and her hair tied in a low bun completed her look for the function.

Isha Ambani also picked an outfit from ace designer, Anamika Khanna for the first function of her brother, Anant. Her outfit featured a dori-work lehenga with intricate pearly detailing. Her outfit also had Gharchola odhni, which was handwoven by Swadesh artisans. For the jewellery, Isha borrowed jhumkas and a ring from her mother, Nita Ambani.
For Lagan Lakhvanu, bride-to-be, Radhika picked a pastel blue-toned lehenga from Anamika Khanna. Her outfit featured a beautiful floral pink choli, which was teamed with a pastel blue-toned lehenga with a matching dupatta, which was pinned over her shoulder in a saree style. Radhika accessorised her look with a three-layered neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a diamond bracelet.
Radhika kept her makeup minimal for the afternoon function. Highlighted makeup with soft pink cheeks, glossy lips, perfectly lined eyes and a red bindi completed her look. Wavy centre-parted hair added the needed glam to her look.
For those who don't know, Lagan Lakhvanu is the first Gujarati wedding ceremony. The ceremony marks the writing of the first wedding invite, which is called Kankotri. It is then presented to God as a token of invitation and the family seeks blessings for the soon-to-be married couple and their families. Radhika and Anant are rooted in their religion, which is one reason why we will see them following a lot of traditions.
On December 29, 2022, Radhika and Anant got rokafied in an intimate ceremony at Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. For the ceremony, Radhika looked gorgeous in a pink suit with gotta patti work on the yoke of the kurta. She styled her look with a scallop-border dupatta. Another highlight of her look was the floral haath phool. On the other hand, Anant Ambani donned a purple-hued kurta.
