Tagged as an ideal couple of the glamour world, Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra's are going through the saddest phase of their life as the once madly-in-love couple is heading for divorce. Their image of a happy family was shattered on May 31, 2021, when Karan was arrested after Nisha's complaint of domestic violence.
Since then, Nisha and Karan have been washing their dirty linen in public. From Nisha accusing Karan of having an extra-marital affair to Karan recalling being suicidal because of Nisha's bipolar issues, the two have left no stone unturned in blaming each other. However, it is their four-year-old son, Kavish Mehra, who is suffering the most in his parent's fight.

On August 3, 2021, Nisha Rawal took to her IG handle and shared a stunning picture of herself with a powerful note. In her note, Nisha talked about her newfound strength and wrote, "Stepped out that door that had those chains of inhibitions clawing my skin through my bones! Didn’t leave my old self behind, just carried it on my newly-found shoulders, whose strength I wasn’t aware of! A moment to thank my mind, body and soul to never have left my side! I am my own bestie for life. Keeping the faith!"
A few days back, when Nisha and Karan's son, Kavish, had turned four, Nisha had hosted a space-themed birthday party for him. Nisha Rawal's friend, Munisha Khatwani, had posted glimpses of Kavish's birthday celebrations, which was attended by Nisha's mother and her friends, Rohit K Verma, Karan V Grover and Munisha. Nisha had opted for a white coloured dress and Kavish had looked adorable in an all-black look.
On the other hand, Karan had shared a lovely birthday wish for their little one. He had posted a picture of the cake and a gift from Hamleys with the caption, "Happy Birthday my little Man @kavishmehra God bless you and protect you always. I remember you telling me that you love me gazillions and me saying I Love You gazillions and gazillions and gazillions… I'm always right there in your heart" I will always LOVE YOU. Thankyou everyone and bless Kavish. Kove and Kugs."

Amidst his fight with Nisha Rawal on the domestic violence allegations and their divorce proceedings, Karan Mehra had spoken about their son, Kavish Mehra's safety. In an interview with the ANI, Karan had said, "I feel my son is not safe with Nisha anymore. Earlier I happily decided to let Kavish live with Nisha but now I really don't know. I don't want my child to get affected. I am really worried about him. It's heartbreaking to see whatever is happening."
