Nims Purja's Heart-Touching Posts About Wife And Daughter Resurfaced Amid His Tragic Passing At 43

Nirmal 'Nims' Purja's passing at the age of 43 left everyone heartbroken. The mountaineer passed away after facing a devastating avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan, which occurred on July 30, 2026. Nirmal is survived by his wife, Suchi and their daughter, Himani. Nims Purja got married to Himani in 2006. Suchi stayed as a strong pillar of support in Nirmal 'Nims' Purja's life and backed him to fulfil his dream.

On the other hand, Nims Purja always acknowledged the fact that he had gotten his wife's support at every step in his life. Nirmal's followers and well-wishers have been offering their condolences to his wife, and it's understandable that she has been facing a tough phase. Amid this, Nirmal's adorable post for his wife Suchi and their daughter, Himani, made rounds on social media, and this left her fans in utter pain.

Nirmal 'Nims' Purja's post about Suchi on Mother's Day resurfaced

Taking to his social media handle back on Mother's Day 2023, Nirmal Nims Purja shared a video with his mom and wished her on Mother's Day. However, it was his tribute to his wife, Suchi, which grabbed attention. He dropped an adorable photo with his wife and kid. Sharing the adorable glimpses with his wife and daughter, he said that he had been blessed with an amazing wife.

For those who don't know, Suchi had been married to Nims Dai for almost two decades and had continued to support her husband in fulfilling his dreams, while taking care of their child and his projects. Suchi is a dental hygienist, therapist, and director of companies linked to his work, including Nims Dai Ltd and Mountain Philanthropy Limited. She has yet to react to her husband's untimely demise.

However, amid his passing, an old video of the couple from 2019 made rounds on social media. In the interview, Suchi was asked if she ever felt stressed over her husband's daring career. It's understandable that Suchi must have felt tense; however, she was someone who didn't let it affect her, and rather, she said that although she was stressed, she remained busy with her own work. She also mentioned that whenever she felt extremely stressed, she continued to remember the fact that her husband told her that if there was 'no news' from him, then it would mean that it was good news.

Along with his post about Suchi, another post of Nims Dai with his daughter, Himani surfaced. The video was from last year, where Nims Dai was seen skating with his daughter. For the unversed, Nims Dai welcomed his daughter, Himani, in 2022. In the clip, Nims Dai was seen holding his daughter close as they skated. Sharing the video and wishing everyone Merry Christmas, Nims Dai adorably wrote:

"Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all! I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful holiday season surrounded by loved ones. Wishing you joy, warmth, and laughter during this special time. Cheers to making beautiful memories! PS - Himani on the ski with daddy."
