Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleThe Beckham family drama shows no sign of stopping. It all began when David and Victoria's eldest son, Brooklyn, decided to post a lengthy six-page statement where he revealed that his parents were not fine with his wedding to Nicola Peltz. Since then, Brooklyn has done his level best to avoid all sorts of family festivities.
He left everyone shocked by deciding not to take part in his father, David Beckham's, birthday and his recent star receiving ceremony at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In fact, Brooklyn was reportedly left ‘fuming’ after he was included in a Father's Day post a couple of days ago. While many have been left disappointed by Brooklyn's behaviour, his wife, Nicola Peltz, shared a cryptic post in support of the former.
Like the rest of his family events this year, Brooklyn Beckham chose to snub his dad, David, by choosing not to post anything to mark Father's Day. This highlighted just how strained their relationship has become at present. According to reports, Brooklyn has no plans to reconcile with his family. Still, Victoria Beckham posted a series of throwback pictures of David with their children for the occasion. The photos even included their estranged son, Brooklyn, something that he was not happy about.
Even David posted pictures with Brooklyn on the same day. Amid this, Nicola Peltz not only backed her husband but also subtly took a dig at the Beckham family with a cryptic post. For those who haven't seen it, in her Instagram Stories, Nicola posted a quote which can be read as:
“I am in love with this sentence: ‘Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach.”
Although the quote did not specifically mention the Beckhams, it hints at learnings in life amid the heartbreaking family feud, giving fans reason to believe that it was a callback by Nicola. It is also worth noting that, as of now, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola has publicly confirmed the meaning behind the post, but the cryptic message is likely to fuel further speculations about the family's ongoing drift.

The entire world celebrated Father's Day on June 21, 2026, and David Beckham and his family were no exception. The former football legend took to his Instagram handle to share a couple of selfies with each of his children. What caught everyone's attention was that he even included his estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham, on the post. Alongside the pictures, David shared a heartfelt message, reading, “Being a dad is my most important job…I love you all & thank you, mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me my beautiful family.” Meanwhile, Victoria wrote:
“David, you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children, and we love you so much. Happy Father's Day.”
According to reports, Brooklyn has blocked his entire family online, but he came across his parents' post involving him via those closest to him. Because their posts came amid their ongoing rift, Brooklyn was not happy with their gesture. A source close to him revealed that he was absolutely furious with David and Victoria and wanted them to leave him alone. The source was quoted as saying:
“He's fuming about it. He's asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone.”
