The test was conducted on June 22, 2026, during the Mallorca Open. Now, months later, Nick acknowledged the positive test by taking to Instagram and saying that he had made a huge mistake.
Amid the controversy, the focus has also shifted to Nick’s personal life. This includes the time when he sparked romance rumors with a woman who looked just like his ex-girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi.
Did Nick Kyrgios date Costeen Hatzi’s look-alike?
Nick Kyrgios and his ex-girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, called it quits in April 2025. The duo even went as far as to erase traces of each other from their social media accounts, with Costeen claiming that they no longer talked. She added:
“And I hope he finds peace and happiness within himself. I definitely entered the relationship with pure intentions; I loved him and thought we had a great connection. Now that I’m not travelling, I can do what I want and be fully present.”
While their breakup left fans heartbroken at the time, the tennis star was quick to move on as he reportedly began talking to former Love Island contestant Mia Dalkos. Netizens couldn't help but notice how Mia, whose real name is Efthimia, has very similar features to Nick’s ex-girlfriend, Costeen.
Fans and media outlets alike dubbed Mia as Costeen’s look-alike. Mia, who is a popular fashion designer, caused quite a stir with her and Nick’s flirty exchanges online. For instance, when Mia shared a video of herself getting glammed up at a hair salon, Nick commented on the post by sharing a double-eye emoji. This highlighted that he was interested in the post.
Meanwhile, Mia also quickly responded to the athlete by posting a shy smiling emoji. Things did not stop here, as Nick Kyrgios went a step further by bluntly commenting “Beautiful” on a second picture that Mia posted the next day. For those wondering, the post featured Mia celebrating her sister's wedding. She looked gorgeous in a black strapless full-length dress. She completed the look with a white shoulder accessory. Judging by Nick's comment, he clearly approved of her ensemble.
Even though neither Nick nor Mia Dalkos publicly commented on their relationship status, it did not stop the romance rumors from going into overdrive. Instagram users flocked to the fashion designer’s post to ask her if she and Nick Kyrgios were now an item.
It is worth noting that a spokesperson for Nick denied that he and Mia were dating. According to them, the pair had been friends for some time. In a statement to The Daily Mail, they explained:
“They have known each other for a while and are good friends! Big Gordan Ramsey fans also!”

Two days after this, Costeen posted a massive bouquet of roses that she received from Nick on her page. Later, after Nick had won a tennis match against Tommy Paul at the 2022 Citi Open, he gushed about his then-girlfriend and said:
“I think everything around me right now is amazing. You know, I’m fortunate enough to be in a really healthy relationship that’s loving. She supports me, and we just have fun.”
