In 2026, Nick Kyrgios confirmed that he is dating again, shortly after a breakup with his ex-girlfriend, with whom he had a three-year relationship. Nick announced that he is dating Danai Stamati, based in Melbourne. Danai Stamati shared photos with him on his birthday and penned a note to her 'handsome boy'.
Later, in an Instagram story, Nick answered a fan's question and revealed that he has been in a relationship for three months. He also shared photos with his girlfriend as they enjoyed time with the tennis star's niece and nephew. Nick's mother also follows his girlfriend, but her account is currently set to private.
Earlier, Nick was in a relationship with businesswoman and infleuncer Costeen Hatzi in early 2025. He met her while purchasing a mirror from her Instagram store. Talking about Nick, he was born in Canberra, ACT, Australia in April 1995 and has a net worth of USD 8 million.
Nick Kyrgios apologised for letting his fans down after he was suspended from tennis
The 31-year-old Australian tennis player gave a sample during an ATP 250 event in Mallorca, Spain on June 22, 2026. Recently, he was suspended after the test came back positive for drug use. After which, he shared an IG story, and bared his heart out. He stated that he wanted to let his fans know that he was banned from playing as he failed the drug test. He took responsibility for his actions and apologised to his fans, family and sponsors and everyone who believed in him.
Nick further added that he is not making excuses but he wanted to share his side of the story and stated that the years of injuries have taken a huge toll on him physically and mentally. He added that his body has not been able to do what his mind expects him to do. Nick claimed that it was hard for him to come to terms with the thought of his career coming to an end.
Nick added that it is a wake-up call for him, and he is going to step away from social media and public life for the next 28 days. He would be focusing on getting his life back in track. He urged people to respect his privacy and his family's privacy in these stressful times. He wrote:
"None of that excuses what I did. However, the good news is that this has given me a wake up call. For the next 28 days. I'll be stepping away from social media and public life while I focus on getting myself right. I'd ask that people respect my privacy during that time, and most importantly the privacy of my family. I'm sorry. I'll do the work and come back better."
It is worth adding that Nick's suspension means that the world No. 13, won't be competing or attending Grand Slam tournaments and events. Nick has been recovering from his persistent knee and wrist problems and had only made four singles appearances in 2026.
