Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s scandal is the talk of the town. The fiasco began in April 2026, after Page Six published some cosy pictures of the pair. In the now-viral photos, Dianna and Mike were seen enjoying their vacation at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona. After facing the public wrath for allegedly cheating on their respective partners, Dianna put down her papers at The Athletic. Now, NFL insider, John McClain, shared his take on how the alleged affair had a bad impact on Dianna’s career more than Mike's.
Recently, NFL insider, John McClain appeared on the podcast, Outkick Hot Mic. During the conversation, John got candid about Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s scandal. He mentioned that after the alleged affair came to the spotlight, it had a bad impact on Dianna’s career more than Mike's. John added that earlier, there had been many instances where guys had survived after extramarital affairs. He was quoted as saying:
"There are a lot of guys who have survived and thrived after extramarital affairs. It’s going to affect her far more than it’ll affect him."

After Dianna and Mike’s photo scandal came under the spotlight, various reports surfaced claiming that the former had a personal relationship with a coach to make her NFL career strong. In fact, back in 2015, Dianna was accused of taking sexual favours from the-then Redskins general manager, Scot McCloughan. The accusation was brought up by Scot’s wife, Jessica. Since early April 2026, Dianna has been facing extreme backlash for allegedly cheating on her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt. However, amid this, the former NFL insider gets full support from her longtime friend, Stugotz.

Recently, on his podcast, Big Stuey, Stugotz shared his support for Dianna. He mentioned that once he told her that if one day The Athletic fires her, he would hire her. And now that Dianna has chosen to resign from her position at The Athletic, Stugotz still held the offer for her. He added that whenever Dianna is ready to come back to the NFL, he would hire her. He was quoted as saying:
"I did say if The Athletic fired her, I would hire her. They didn’t fire her. She stepped down from The Athletic, and the offer holds forever. If Dianna Russini decides one day, three months from now, a year from now, two years from now, that she wants to get back into this game, she has a place right here."

On his podcast, Stugotz opened up about his deep bonding with Dianna. He didn’t hesitate to take her side amid the fiasco. Stugotz highlighted that the former NFL insider had been warm and compassionate towards him. He stated that Dianna supported him at times whenever he needed her. Stugotz added that he would continue his friendship with Dianna. He was quoted as saying:
