During the 2026 NFL Draft, Mike Vrabel was present for the first two days; however, he missed Day 3, which is Rounds 4-7. Reportedly, he missed it as he had to go for family counseling. This decision didn't sit well with the NFL executive, who went on to slam him. The executive shared that Mike's counseling could have waited for 24 hours. According to a report by Pro Football Network, the NFL executive said:
"More than half the draft happens on the last day, so that’s not the day to miss."

For those who do not know, Day 3 at the NFL Draft is one of the most important days for the players and the head coach of the team. Reportedly, on that day, a team selects a large number of players, making it an important day for the coach. On Day 3, a team also notices several underdogs. On the other hand, the coaches play an important role as they are supposed to make some decisions. And Mike Vrabel's absence was quickly noticed.

In the past few days, the players of the New England Patriots have come forward and supported their head coach, amid the controversy involving Dianna Russini. For the unversed, when Mike addressed the affair controversy for the first time, he has revealed that he took time because he first wanted to talk to his team first. Later, a few players came in support of Mike Vrabel.

Recently, player, Hunter Henry came forward and shared, "I thought he did a great job. You know, it’s been the same Vrabes bringing a lot of energy in the room. So, yeah, I mean, obviously he addressed it and, you know, that’s kind of what I’ll say about it." Further, Drake Maye expressed his love for Mike and explained:

Later, the outlet shared a video from 2020, in which Mike and Dianna were in a club. The video clip featured them kissing each other. Soon after the controversy, Mike started facing pressure, which led him to begin counseling for his wife, Jen Vrabel. Over the past few days, he also had an "emergency meeting" with his wife to fix issues.

Recently, Mike Vrabel was spotted at the airport, where he was questioned about his affair with Dianna Russini. However, it is worth noting that the Patriots' head coach chose to maintain silence. At the same time, his wife, Jen was also spotted wearing her wedding ring, which netizens believe that she is not parting ways with Mike.
