A few weeks back, Neha made her break-up with Yaariyan debutant, Himansh Kohli, Insta-official after they unfollowed each other on social media and the singer announced that she went into depression. On February 7, 2019, Neha Kakkar shared some Insta stories of her ‘life is good’ phase as she has bought a new home and a car with siblings, Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar. Neha, Sonu and Tony had organised a Griha Pravesh ceremony on February 8, 2019, wherein the Aankh Maare singer shared some glimpses of the ceremony and the house. In a 2018 interview, Neha expressed her feelings on not winning the singing reality show, Indian Idol in 2006. She had shared, "I feel whatever happens, happens for a reason. I am just glad the way my journey worked out. It has been a tremendous learning experience." Further speaking the songs in which she had collaborated with her brother, Tony Kakkar, Neha stated, "I am doing that in fact. My song Mile Ho Tum Humko, written and created by my brother Tony Kakkar, is the most viewed song on YouTube. Another song of mine Maahi Ve has been appreciated a lot. My recent hit Oh Humsafar, which is a romantic song with Himansh Kohli and created by Tony Kakkar, hit 100 million (views) in no time. Which says it all."
Coming back to Neha and Himansh’s relationship, Tony was very supportive of his sister’s camaraderie with the Student of the Year 2 actor. On Himansh’s birthday, Neha Kakkar’s star brother, Tony Kakkar, too took to his Instagram handle and shared a super-cool picture with his then-probable jiju, Himansh. The Coca Cola Tu star captioned the picture as, “Happy birthday brother @kohlihimansh May god bless you with everything you desire. Big hug brother #tonykakkar #himanshkohli.”
Nehansh (this is what their fans lovingly called them) were showered with immense love from their fans that it made Himansh plan to take up acting offers with Neha. Sharing the same in an interview earlier, Sweetiee weds NRI actor was quoted as saying, “I was telling Neha that after getting such a good response – with the song not even out yet – why not act together in films. I was convincing her in that part. I also told Tony to convince her to do films. Earlier speaking about her relationship with Himansh, Neha had shared, "Honestly, we just keep on laughing about these reports. But soon things took a different turn when the news of Neha and Himansh’s breakup made the headlines.
On December 12, 2018, Neha Kakkar shared some Insta stories which might be a hint of the rough patch in her relationship with Himansh Kohli.
