The Aankh Maare singer, Neha Kakkar had her ‘Jabra fan moment’ on Valentines Day 2019 and her reaction is unmissable. Neha posted a video on her Instagram handle on February 14, 2019, wherein a die-hard fan of hers got down on his knees and said, “You’re the most adorable girl I have ever met. Thank you so much for your voice” and presented her with a bouquet and card. Neha captioned it, “Back stage last night! Valentine’s Day Surprise I’m so lucky I have #NeHearts like You @neha_holic_deep Love My NeHearts #NehaKakkar #ValentinesDay #Love #NeHeart #FanLove #Delhi”.
Valentines Week 2018 was a special time for Neha Kakkar as her relationship with Yaariyan debutant, Himansh Kohli garnered a lot of attention when they celebrated Hug Day, Kiss Day and Valentines Day together. Neha and Himansh shared glimpses of their Valentines Week celebrations on social media and their fans were delighted to know about the new lovebirds in town. But a few months later, things took an ugly turn when Neha and Himansh parted their ways.
In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Neha for the first time talked about her breakup and falling in love again. Speaking about coping up with the breakup and labelling it as the ‘worst phase of her life’, Neha Kakkar stated, “That phase of my life was very difficult. Yes, I was into depression and it was difficult for me to cope up with it. It was the worst phase; however I have come out of it now. Right now, all I can say is that being single is the best feeling of my life. You know what, when I was in a relationship, I was not being able to give time to my family and my friends. At that time, I dedicated all my time and energy to that person who does not deserve it. I missed so many beautiful moments with my family members, especially with my siblings. And guess what; in spite of giving him so much time; he always complained of not being together.”
The Dilbar singer continued, “Thankfully, I have moved on from this bad relationship. I am really in a happy space now. I have realised that my family is more deserving than anybody else in my life. I am happy with whatever happened because that made me realise the importance of my family members. (smiles)” Neha also shared that she is not open to love again, “With this bad experience, I am not open to love again. As I said, I am happy to be single!”
After her interview spread in the media like wildfire in which she labelled her breakup as the ‘worst phase of her life’, Neha posted an Instagram story wherein she addressed the media and wrote, “Dear Media, It wasn’t ugly, neither the relationship nor the breakup. Let’s not blame anyone. I guess it was nobody’s fault, maybe God didn’t want us to be together. Soon after Neha and Himansh unfollowed each other on social media, which left gossipmongers discussing if they had gone separate ways. When SpotboyE got in touch with her and she refused to acknowledge her ex-boyfriend. When asked about their relationship status, she replied, “Which Himansh? I don’t know any Himansh.” When prodded further, she replied, “Leave me alone please!”
Later, Neha Kakkar confessed through an Instagram story that she is suffering from depression. The heartbreaking Instagram story could be read as, “Yes I am in depression. Thanks to all the negative people in the world. You're successful in giving me the worst days of my life. Congratulations, you’re successful!”
And that was shortly followed by another Instagram story wherein she justified her previous one, “Lemme make it clear. It’s not because of one person or two, it’s because of world who’s not letting me live my personal life.
