This February, love conquers all in the telly town! After Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit’s grand wedding, another celebrity found her happily-ever-after. Television actress, Mohena Kumari Singh, who is popular for playing the role of ‘Kreeti’ in Star Plus’ hit show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, got engaged to Suyash Rawat in Goa. While their engagement left everyone gaping, on Febrarury 13, 2019, Mohena treated her fans with unseen pictures from her engagement night. She took to her Instagram account and shared a couple of pictures with her friends and family. Along with the picture she wrote, "You made it more beautiful. As always." Check it out all here:
Earlier, in an interview with the Times of India, Mohena confirmed the news of her marriage, and said, “Yes, I am getting married and I know that I will be going on a long break when I shall be getting married in the next two months or something. But as of now, I know that I am working in Yeh Rishta and that I am getting married soon. While Mohena herself confirmed the news, many gossipmongers were spreading the wrong news of her engagement, and in an interview with TellyChakkar, the actress put a rest to it all. She had said, “There are a lot of wrong dates flying around. Many speculations are being made, obviously, because I haven’t commented too much on these things. I would like to clarify that I am going to get engaged in February and probably getting married at the end of this year.”
Mohena also revealed the pressure she feels to keep her relationship private. To which the actress stated, “I am a very non-starry and grounded person. I don’t fly high, I am just like a girl-next-door. I don’t think too much about news relating to my personal life getting leaked and all. Having said that, of course, I wanted to keep things a little private as it’s going to be an arranged marriage for me. I did not really want to talk much about it. For the first time, Mohena who is extremely introvert when it comes to her personal life shared the details of her partner. She said, “I would not like to reveal the identity of my partner, but he is a thorough gentleman and a very normal, down-to-earth, and humble person. He is into a lot of social service. He belongs to a political family.”
For those who don’t know, Mohena is a princess of Rewa and she is apparently the first girl from a royal family who became part of a reality show. Earlier, she has also been linked to Rishi Dev, who plays the role of her on-screen husband in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. A source had revealed about the couple, and said, “Their bond is becoming stronger by the day. The duo is more than ‘just friends’ now and everyone on the set is aware of their growing fondness for each other” The actress clarified her fondness for co-star, and stated, “We have gotten pretty close, but just as good friends”.
