One of the essential responsibilities of a mother is to breastfeed the milk to their newborn babies. Breastfeeding is normal and very important for babies as it's their main nutrition.

Now, celebrity moms are coming on the front foot to support normalising breastfeeding even in public. The television industry's one of the most well-known faces, Kishwer Merchantt has been enjoying her motherhood journey ever since the arrival of her son, whom she named Nirvair Rai. She is an avid social media user, and after welcoming her son into her house, she shared a picture of breastfeeding her newborn baby. Along with it, she had penned a note that could be read as:

"EAT ... SLEEP ... FEED ... REPEAT."

Kratika Sengar and her hubby, Nikitin Dheer have stepped into the parenthood phase. A while back, Kratika had shared a picture with her daughter, Devika, while breastfeeding her and wrote a note promoting normalise breastfeeding that could be read as:

Neha Dhupia is the first Bollywood celeb mom, who came in support of normalising breastfeeding in public and started a campaign on the Instagram platform, Freedom to Feed, where she holds talk shows with other celeb moms and shares thoughts on the matter. Neha is a mother of two children, Mehr and Guriq. On October 3, 2021, she had given birth to Guriq and had shared a breastfeeding picture on her IG handle with a caption, '#freedomtofeed'.

The popular model-actress, Lisa Haydon is a mother of three children. She had hit the headlines in 2017 during World Breastfeeding Week for sharing a picture while feeding her then newborn baby her breast milk. In October 2021, after her third child, Lara's birth, she shared another picture of breastfeeding her baby daughter and penned a note that could be read as:

"Was it just world breastfeeding week? In honour of this special week Lara would like to thank everyone that has given her a seat at the table."

Bollywood actress, Evelyn Sharma is a proud mother to her darling daughter, Ava Bhindi. She often shares pictures of her baby girl and a few glimpses of her motherhood journey, which includes breastfeeding. In one of such pictures, Evelyn had penned a note:

However, the celeb mom often gets trolled by the netizens for posting such pictures. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she had shared her thoughts on it and responded:

"Such images show vulnerability and strength at the same time. I find it beautiful. Breastfeeding is one of the most natural and healthy things to do. And it really is why women have breasts in the first place. So why be shy about it?"

During World Breastfeeding Week, the actress had shared a beautiful picture on her IG handle wherein she could be seen breastfeeding her baby. Along with it, she had penned a note in favour of breastfeeding in public:

"Happy breastfeeding week everyone. Let's protect, promote and support breast feeding if it's your choice as a mother. And let's support the right of women to breastfeed anywhere and at any time."

However, Addite has often shared her thoughts on breastfeeding her milk to her baby and talked about it in support of breastfeeding. She had shared a picture while breastfeeding her son on her IG handle and wrote a detailed note on why she gives formula milk along with breast milk to her baby. She has also come in support of normalising breastfeeding. She had written a note that could be read as:

“And trust me a lot of judgements may start with this….No formula is not good for your child! Please show me science that says that! I say that my child gets antibodies through breast milk but with it if he needs more, why shall he stay hungry?”
