Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. When the entire world was busy with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi surprised everyone and had straightaway posted pictures from their pink and white Anand Karaj ceremony on May 10, 2018. Do you guys know that Neha didn’t say yes to Angad’s proposal for four years. Ever since their wedding, the two had been sharing adorable pictures with each other and the doting couple had completed their family picture with the arrival of their angel, Mehr on November 18, 2018.
While the entire country is under lockdown and all of us are spending time with our families. B-town celebs too are making most of their family time by indulging in baking, working out with their spouse or making funny TikTok videos. We have seen how Janhvi Kapoor-Khushi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan-Ibrahim Ali Khan-Amrita Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana-Tahira Kashyap had taken the ‘Who is the most likely challenge’ with each other. And now, taking inspiration from Ayushmann and Tahira, Neha and Angad also took the challenge. On April 20, 2020, Neha shared a video of the same on her Instagram handle where the lovely couple were seen twinning with each other. Along with the video, Neha wrote, “Post and twinning Inspired by @ayushmannk and @tahirakashyap and we are allllllllll kinds of wrong! #stayhomestaysafe #couplecompatibility.”
In the glamour world, where keeping things personal becomes really difficult, Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia had managed to keep their relationship under the wraps. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Angad Bedi had revealed why their wedding was so private and low-key. He had shared, “I feel that our marriage was low-key because we wanted a low-key marriage. Because, when my father got married he had a very low-key wedding and he was the captain of India at that time. Angad had further added, “And, I thought of it as such a beautiful story. So, when our turn happened I wanted it to be just like how my father had his wedding and we had only 50 people. Abhi shaadi aapne apne liye karni hai ya logon ke liye karni hai, pehele yeh decide karlo. It’s like each to their own. I feel a wedding is a private affair, we both believe in that. The marriage is not only between two people, it’s between two families. Yes, it’s great to celebrate, we had a great baby shower, and we called the entire industry and everybody came and blessed us.”
Though the duo had kept their relationship a secret, they have been quite open about Neha’s pregnancy and how their life has changed after the arrival of little Mehr. During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Angad had shared the experience of parenthood and had stated that Mehr has brought a lot of changes in him. She has made him understand a lot of things and he now has a lot of gratitude to the universe and people. He had also stated that fatherhood has made him a better person, a better performer and had also helped him realise the value of the family.
