Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia had given a pleasant surprise to all their fans when they had posted the first picture from their wedding. On May 10, 2018, Neha and Angad had posted a picture from their Anand Karaj ceremony and had announced that they have taken the plunge. While Neha had written, “Best decision of my life.. today, I married my best friend. Hello there, husband! @angadbedi”, Angad had captioned his post as “Best friend... now Wife!!! Well hello there Mrs BEDI!!! @nehadhupia.” On November 18, 2018, Angad and Neha had become proud parents to a little angel, Mehr Dhupia Bedi.
On January 19, 2020, Neha Dhupia shared a glimpse of her daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi's feet as she took her little one for her first beach experience. Neha took to her social media handle and shared a Boomerang of Mehr’s feet. Mehr was seen matching up with the feet of her mother, Neha and nani, Babli. Along with the Boomerang, Neha wrote, “My baby girls first steps on a beach... may you always be surrounded by all things wonderful my doll... the sound of the ocean, the wind on your face and may the sun always shine on you and may every sand castle you build always be a reality.”
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Neha Dhupia revealed that she and her husband, Angad Bedi lead a normal life with their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. She revealed that they make sure that they do not spoil her by accepting her demands. Talking about the same, she further said, “She wakes up to bhangra with her daddy on a Diljit Dosanjh song. She doesn’t get everything she points her finger at. I use only wooden toys for her. I use hand-me-down clothes for her. She was introduced to a beach clean-up at a birthday party. So, every morning, she does want to pick litter during our walks. We are trying to raise a good human being and nothing else matters." On November 18, 2019, Mehr Dhupia Bedi had turned 1 and the Bedi-Dhupia family had headed off to Amritsar to take the blessings from God. To wish her little angel, Neha had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted an adorable picture of little Mehr. Along with the picture, she had written, "Happy 1st Birthday our little angel .... my heart is so full of love... I don’t know what I am capable of giving you but you gave me the best gift of my life, the gift of motherhood. May god bless you ... Guru ‘Mehr’ Karein.” Angad had shared the same picture and had written, “Our baby girl turns #1. Happy birthday Mehr.. May you have the wisdom of your dada.. and grandparents over the years and the smile and warmth of your mum.. much love and prayers. Just be a kind girl always. Love your dad. In an interview with the Asian Age, Neha Dhupia had spoken about the different roles that she and Angad Bedi play as parents to their now-one-year-old daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. Neha had remarked, “I am driving Mehr to her playdate, then Angad is busy changing diapers. Usually, we fix things as they come, but we work around our work schedules as well. We are in the same profession so there isn’t much conflict. I look at it as love. When Mehr, my mother and I have a group hug, that’s the most precious moment for me. This is the moment when my heart pops out for my mom, who took time to braid my hair, and more. She is responsible for making me the person I am today.
