Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are undoubtedly among the ‘It couples’ in Indian showbiz. The two lovebirds, who married in 2021, continue to swoon hearts with their sizzling chemistry. The duo has, time and again, expressed their love for each other on various occasions and shared various facets of their lovely relationship. However, Neha Dhupia, who is a close friend of the couple, shared an unheard anecdote of Katrina and Vicky from the latter’s film screening.
Recently, Vicky Kaushal graced Neha Dhupia’s talk show, No Filter Neha season 6 and talked about his relationship with Katrina Kaif. Moreover, Neha chipped in and shared an anecdote from the screening of Vicky’s 2019 film, Uri: The Surgical Strike. First, she cleared that Vicky and Katrina were not dating back then and revealed that Katrina was completely in awe of Vicky when she watched him in the Aditya Dhar directorial.

Neha said that initially, she was sitting with her husband, Angad Bedi, but later, Katrina insisted she come and sit with her. And when the film started playing, the Tiger 3 actress saw Vicky in it and reacted with “Oh! This guy,” and by interval Katrina was so engrossed in the film that she refused to leave her seat. Neha mentioned that Katrina’s tone changed and she was so impressed by Vicky’s acting that she said, “This guy, oh wow!” Further sharing details about the incident, Neha said:
“I think at one point, she couldn’t differentiate whether it was the film or you. I mean, it was almost like she was having a beautiful moment, and she was looking at you with a lot of love.”

Vicky looked surprised by this revelation and added that Katrina was unwell back then and was shooting a film, but she still managed to attend the screening of Uri: The Surgical Strike. During the conversation, Neha asked how the actor connected with Katrina, and they ended up marrying. Vicky said that the two felt a genuine connection between them, and further added:
“Just two people meeting and genuinely finding a connection, and that’s how it literally happened. Like we kept meeting, and we just kept feeling that there’s a connection, and till we just took it to the next level, we just felt like okay, this is just happening without an effort. It’s just very naturally feeling right, and that is how it happened.”
Further in the interaction, Neha praised the couple and called their relationship picture-perfect. She asked him about their relationship, and Vicky called it his “good fortune” that he has Katrina in his life as his partner. Moreover, the doting husband called his beloved a “wonderful person” and said:
“Good fortune, good luck, I truly feel blessed to have her. Bhaag khul gaye. She is a wonderful, wonderful person. It's incredible how much I have evolved ever since I have been with her.”
