Every daughter as it is said is their fathers’ little angels and when they grow up and tie the knot with their Prince Charming, it is a girl’s father who gets happy and sad at the same time. Something like this happened with one of our favourite father-daughter duo, Rishi Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. In an emotional post on Children’s Day on November 14, 2018, Neetu Singh took to her official Instagram handle and shared the story.
Before jumping on to that, let us tell the uninitiated ones, Neetu Singh is currently with Rishi Kapoor in New York for some medical treatment, which they haven’t disclosed. So, from there, the doting mommy shared this story with us via her social media handle. Neetu Singh shared a newspaper cutting picture of Riddhima with her daddy dear Rishi Kapoor. It is a very emotional post that tells the bond shared between this lovely baap-beti jodi. Neetu captioned the post as, “Without children our wallets wld be full : houses clean : anxiety levels lower : but our lives would be incomplete thank you for bringing a meaning to our lives n for being a reason of our existence”. Moreover, the picture of the newspaper cutting reveals an amazing story of Rishi ji and Riddhima. It so happened that when Riddhima got married to her beau Bharat Sahni, a Delhi-based businessman, she had to shift her base to the capital.
Rishi Kapoor who is very fond of his daughter kept Face-timing her when she was in Delhi with her in-laws. Without fail the doting daddy used to video call his daughter, and in case, sometimes she would not take his call, he would get upset. And then, it was Neetu ji who made Rishi ji understand that he should not be cranky and upset as Riddhima is busy shouldering her responsibilities of being a wife, a mother as well as a daughter-in-law. For the ones who missed a piece of news, we shared with you earlier regarding Rishi Kapoor’s health. Well, Riddhima lately opened up about his condition and gave an honest update. She as quoted as saying, "He's fine, nothing to worry about. I was never worried anyway. He's just getting his routine tests done, like he said on Twitter, after so many years of wear and tear. Previously, for an NDTV interview, Riddhima described her actor-father and was quoted as saying, "My dad is as honest on Twitter as he is in real life - he is a very straightforward and that's what's amazing because in today's times, we need more people like him who are not afraid to speak their mind and are totally frank about certain issues, so kudos to him." Ridhima Kapoor is the creative head for ‘R’ Jewelry’ by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Last year in 2017, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was counted amongst the top 25 entrepreneurs in New Delhi. On this happy occasion for her daughter, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter account and tweeted that he is proud of his daughter. He keeps giving shoutouts for his kids' professional achievements.
