Film director, producer and screenwriter, Mahesh Bhatt is known for his immense works in Bollywood. One of his popular films, Saaransh, was also screened at the 14th Moscow International Film Festival, which had also become India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1984. Apart from this, he has multiple awards in his kitty for producing and directing one after the other hit films in the last few decades. However, Mahesh's personal life was not a bed of roses.
For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt had earlier married Kiran Bhatt (the name before her marriage was Lorraine Bright), and together they have a daughter, Pooja Bhatt. But their marriage didn't go well as he had got involved in an extra-marital affair with late Bollywood actress, Parveen Babi. However, due to the actress' rare illness, their relationship went through turmoil and ended after two-and-a-half years. After quite some time, Mahesh had again fallen in love with his present wife, Soni Razdan, whom he had secretly dated for around two years. On April 20, 1986, they had tied the knot and later, they were blessed with two daughters, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.

A few hours ago, Soni Razdan took to her IG handle and shared two unseen pictures with her husband, Mahesh Bhatt to mark their 36th anniversary. In the first picture, the duo was seen in their younger self, reportedly clicked during one of their outings. Soni was seen wearing a mauve-coloured dress and Mahesh looked handsome in a grey shirt paired with denim pants. The following picture was from the duo's latest time where the ageless beauties were seen happily posing for the camera. Along with the pictures, Soni penned a quote about Cleopatra mentioning the meaning of age and wished her 'old chap'. Her caption can be read as:
"Age cannot wither her nor custom stale her infinite variety. This quote about Cleopatra could well apply to our marriage as well. Happy Anniversary old chap. Cheers to many more fun times ahead."
Recently, Alia Bhatt had got married to the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor, making a forever connection between the Kapoor and the Bhatt family. Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor also shares a beautiful bond with her samdhan and samdhi. A few hours ago, Neetu took to her IG stories and posted a beautiful picture of Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt to mark their 36th anniversary. Atop it, Neetu penned a beautiful wish which spoke volumes about her relation with her bahu's family. Neetu's caption can be read as "Happy anniversary samdhan and samdhiji love and hugs." Alia's nanand, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her IG stories and wished her bhabhi's parents. Soon, Soni reposted the stories and thanked them.

Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt also share a warm bond with their son-in-law, Ranbir Kapoor. On April 16, 2022, Pooja Bhatt had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared two priceless pictures from her half-sister, Alia Bhatt’s wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. The two beautiful pictures had featured the then-groom, Ranbir, hugging his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt, and it was pure love. Along with this, Pooja wrote a heart-melting note in the caption that had set pure family goals. Her caption could be read as:
"Who needs words when one has the ability to listen & speak from the heart?”
