It has been a delightful year for Bollywood's adorable couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The duo tied the knot in a whimsical wedding on April 14, 2022, and within three months of getting hitched, Alia announced her pregnancy in June 2022. And finally, on November 6, 2022, Alia and Ranbir entered the parenthood league with the arrival of a baby girl into their lives.
For the unversed, it was on November 6, 2022, when Alia Bhatt shared the official announcement of her baby's arrival through a cutesy picture note. Signed with ‘love love love’ by the newbie parents, Alia and Ranbir, the note had a picture of a lion and lioness with a little cub, cuddling together. The note text could be read as:
“And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir.”

The Kapoor-Bhatt clan is beaming with excitement after the arrival of Alia and Ranbir's little munchkin into their lives. On November 6, 2022, the newbie dadi, Neetu Kapoor was spotted at her residence as she returned from the hospital, and the shutterbugs bombarded her with questions. When one of the paps asked Neetu if the baby girl resembles Alia or Ranbir, she gave a beautiful response. Neetu can be heard saying:
"Abhi choti hai na. Abhi to bohot choti hai. Aaj hi hui na to abhi pata nahi itna but very cute."

Neetu Kapoor couldn't contain her happiness after becoming a dadi, as she was overwhelmed when the paps congratulated her. Further during the interaction, Neetu also gave an update on her bahu, Alia Bhatt’s health after the delivery and revealed that she's doing absolutely fine. In her words:
“She is ekdum first class. Absolutely okay. Everything is fine, thank you.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Mahesh Bhatt opened up about his joy of becoming a grandfather and revealed that it is difficult for him to express his happiness in mere words. The doting daddy mentioned how just yesterday Alia was a little baby, and now, she has become a mother. Adding that his wife, Soni Razdan had called him from the hospital to give him the good news, Mahesh had said:
"It is overwhelming to taste the ceaseless flow of life. It was just yesterday when Alia was a little baby who I carried in my arms. Now, she is a mumma to a baby girl. Today, when my overwhelmed wife Soni called me from the hospital, she said, ‘Oh, she is born’. I cannot put into words the manner in which she communicated those few words. There was an ocean of emotion coursing through that voice."
