For the unversed, on April 30, 2020, the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor had bid adieu to his loved ones and had left for the heavenly abode. The 68-year-old-actor was fighting cancer and had freed himself from all the pains, leaving a huge vacuum in the lives of his friends, fans and family.

The doting wife left no stone unturned to make the day super special and a memorable one. Talking about the cake, then it was all about Chintu ji as it featured some of the things that the late actor loved all his life. From a Twitter logo, whiskey bottle, nag champa, a guitar, mutton curry, and a cassette of old hits, the cake was simply the epitome of the late actor's favourites in a nutshell. In the pictures, we can also spot Randhir Kapoor, David Dhawan, Rumi Jafri, Shatrughan Sinha, Hanan Jafri, and many more. However, the best thing about the whole celebration was the life-size cardboard cutout of Rishi Kapoor, as it simply made us smile and miss him even more.

Sharing an adorable picture with him, Neetu had penned, "I learnt a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few traumatic years in NYC... how we celebrated when his blood counts were high... we dined shopped laughed .. in his lows we just stayed home watched tv ordered in amazing food n still had some wonderful moments in hope that the next round of chemotherapy he would be better."
At the end of her note, Neetu Kapoor had also stated she could picture Rishi Kapoor and had stated that he would have been extremely excited about his birthday.
